I m bit confused by scene kavya was remembering d scene where she tried to be close to Anuj inna meeting later vanraj's warning.

Konsi situation in madam ji ke haath se nikal gayi thi ? As vanya was given job offer on bases of their presentation but vanraj out of his ego destroy that offer.

That anuj uska friend ban jaye, thoda bhav de, aur woh uske startup plan me invest kare so that she set her life nd of her family. That's her motive.

May be kavya planning to become like anupama only in office. Kavya ne dekha ki anupama ne jaise office mein present karti hai to anupama ko itni badi opportunity mili to ho sakta hai kavya anupama ka style apnaye in office only

I think she just wants a job. Vanraj’s cafe is also not running good. She wants job and money badly. The way they have portrayed Kavya, she blunt and upfront but not typical vamp. Yes, sometimes she instigates ofhsr people but here she knows Anuj cannot be instigated against Anupama.
