Totally agree, the major reason S1 is fondly remembered is because of the writing. Probably a fluke, but Mamta really got lucky when Durjoy Datta was brought on board. This season makers thought that we're known to ruin shows since time immemorial, then why leave a blot on our legacy because of S1 of kuch rang? Time to transform it into kuch bhi😃

S3 belongs to the trashcan...there's nothing which can even be compared to S1, right from writing to acting.

Most fans tend to give all the credit to the actors. Am not saying actors don't deserve credit but in a lot of good performances, half or more than half the performance is thanks to the brilliant writing. Kuch Rang is actually a brilliant example of this. Same cast in both the seasons but the biggest difference is the writing which managed to pull down everything. Even Sana from what I have seen is better than this. She wasn't this bad in any of her previous shows. I was watching some random episode of this show on Star Plus which stars Neil Bhatt and he was so bad in that scene. But that man is a good actor and did good work in his past shows. This actually shows what writing and a good character can do to actors

I wouldn't say for sure as we don't know. All we can do is just guess 😆 But I think the 3rd angle track itself was not the problem. The way it is being handled is the problem. They did not bring any popular face because originally they had no intention of leading this 3rd angle to a point where the female lead quits. I may be wrong, but I feel they didn't even look for any suitable actress for this part. Sana was to be given a role in this show was probably pre-decided. Be it her PR team approaching the makers& making a deal or her bachpan ke buddy putting in good words for her. Sana wanted a role in KRPKAB to revive her career & these people just thought arey....humein toh 3rd angle ke casting karni hai....iseh hi bana dete hai.😁

Then the track went out of control because of the Oscar winning writing & direction and simultaneously Sana's PR started hyping up her like the best thing ever happened to KRPKAB. Shaheer, being her friend, thought to help her cause by giving joint interviews with her & posting Veer - Ritu recreation/reunion pictures which Sana too gushed all about.....And we have the scenario we have now. 🤪

The sidelined female lead & the fans.... everyone got pissed. 😆

Now if Erica quits & they still have to run the show (Sony might ask them to fill the slot upto a certain date), they would need a solution to the problem. There are 2 things that they can do -

1. Replace Erica. Bring someone else to play Sonakshi.

2. Promote another character to female lead's position. The quickest way to do it is to select the characters from the already existing ones & the only option you get is Miss Serendipity.

But both the scenarios are going to fetch severe backlash from the fans 😆 So let's see which way they take.😆 At this point I am not even sure they care much about what the fans have to say or they'll pay any respect to the fans' feelings. So anything is possible.🤔

Yeah, the actors are the face of the show & that's why they tend to get credited/trolled for things they're not remotely responsible for.

Most actors have the same story, as long as the script is good, they're doing well. When the script goes for a toss, the actors are unable to do anything beyond what the writing scope can provide. I've seen a very few actors who've actually shined with/without the credibility of the script.

The fact that they came back with this season without any story means that they were trying to cash in on the nostalgia and Dev-Sona/Shaheer-Erica hype. It's laziness but that's the thought process behind it so I still find it hard to believe they wanted to push mismatched pairing to the forefront and run the show. I mean even Sana won't gain anything from this because TRP is dismal and there is no praise online also. I don't know if they wanted to give a new lease of life to her career but end result is that it's done nothing for her and it's also ended up being a blot in Shaheer and Erica's career who were otherwise doing well 😆

More than writing, I feel it's the direction which deserves the credit/blame. Ultimately the Director approves a scene. Not the writers. Script & dialogues matter, but also the way they are being presented, matters.

For example, both Piku & Malti are well written roles. But Deepika shined in one & failed in another. Again, neither Mastani nor Padmavati is author backed role. But she excelled in both. Direction & the Director's satisfaction level plays a big role in getting the actor's 100% out.

Right now, given the standard the show has fallen to, I think Sanjana's most dialogues are quite alright if they are trying to portray her as a psychopath stalker, obsessive lover. But Sana delivering them with deadpan expression are getting approved & making it to the final episode. Which ruins the concept even more than it's already ruined. Watching her scenes, I sometimes wonder do they even go for a retake in any of her scenes? How do these shots get approved? Does the director ever tell her that she needs to emote more?

We need to wait for sometime for analysis. What if eri not quitting n all these news are just PR stunt..😆

Yes direction also matters but if am not wrong, the director is the same as S1. IMO there is something fundamentally wrong with this season. Even the actors look better off screen than on the show. In the off screen pictures that Shaheer/Erica/SP post, they look far better than on the show (esp Shaheer and SP). The styling has been bad from episode 1. Shaheer looks unkempt and sleep deprived and he was given these colorful over sized coats which did not even fit him. Erica looked gorgeous but so unlike Sonakshi in a lot of scenes. SP also looked dull compared to S1. Don't even get me started on the writing, acting and character consistency. There is actually no effort from any department tbh. Even Mamta does not care. She is in her own world and hasn't done anything to improve the situation. The result of this lethargy is for all to see. The TRP of 0.3 also is too much for this season. And if I combine IF and twitter, around 50 ppl must be watching the show but that's a lot for this train wreck😆

1. I don't think they did it intentionally. At least onscreen. It's just bad writing & execution. Off-screen, the scenario was complicated further by some individual's unprofessional attitude & overenthusiastic PR.

2. That's the biggest irony 😆 Sana, if was invisible before, now is absolutely hated. And NOT because of her brilliant performance as a suave vamp. I don't think that's a good thing.

Shaheer probably will be okay. He has PR2. And he was bound to take a break to spend time with his family anyway.

The most damage it did, in my opinion, to Erica. She was just 2 shows old & was still on the rise. She needed to do something better, way better than this crap to maintain the momentum. But this crapfest not only just wasted her talent & time, but also damaged her onscreen image. She shouldn't have been playing monther of 3 or just 5 minutes long role to romance the hero kind of characters at this point. This may affect her future prospects. I think the hype/buzz she got from KZK & ETimes most desirable list, is already half gone & she has to again work her way up.

If that happens then we are just wasting our time & energy trying to decipher probable cause 🤣

But I have this feeling that it's not. Cause honestly, this rumour, isn't doing any good. No one will get suddenly interested in this crapfest only because of the possibility of Erica quitting. If anything, people are actually demanding to shut down the show.

Also, Erica's Dad deleted that post. If it was PR stunt, either he wouldn't have posted at all or would have just left it there. He had to take it down because media is still yet to be informed formally. Also Erica seems to be not shooting & doing other stuffs....

I think we will get confirmation within few days.
