Dhara and Gautam as Ram and Sita

As per the bts and spoilers, Dhara and Gautam are going to play Sita and Ram.

According to me that's an insult to the Ramayan.

Dhara who beats her devars like animal and has mastered in emotional blackmailing and manipulation.

Gaumbi who is absolutely spineless , leaves no chance to slap his brothers and hugs another his ex the way he never hugged his own wife🙂

Can you name one (just one) quality of Lord Rama and goddess Sita which dhara and Gautam have???

Insulting religious sentiments and Gods has become a normal thing for pandya store makers. 🙂

Gautam and Dhara are humans, they are flawed. Makers, please don’t equate them to God. Ram and Sita have flaws too but one thing I can assure that they never lifted their finger on any of their siblings. Here GauRa have mercilessly beaten both Shiva and Krish separately. Gautam is not even remorseful of that and neither have apologized to Shiva or Krish😕

They do not. According to me they lost that right after the danda kaand.

GauRa are by no means an ideal bhaiya bhabhi at all, to any of their younger brothers. Neither is Gautam an ideal son to Suman. He isn't an ideal husband to dhara either after what he did yesterday by hugging Anita.

With the way dhara suspects Gautam of leaving her due to her bring pregnant, she isn't an ideal wife by any means either.

Ram and sita were an ideal couple in Ramayan. Making GauRa play them is an insult to the great epic that a lot of us revere and worship, and I wish the makers didn't do this.

I think Absolutely No is going to have to work for me because I refuse to disturb God over this... I agree with your points, but another important point to be taken into consideration is that Gautam and Dhara were never meant to be a Ram Sita template... They weren't written that way or we would have seen multiple instances of this already....

This was meant to be a story about a normal family and the way it deals with drastic changes that happen with the coming of new members amongst them. It wasn't supposed to be about two people and their sacrifices and hero worship (or heroine)... It was meant to be about flawed characters and to me, one of the main take away messages of the Ramayan is the possibility of the perfect man and woman. The idealistic couple in the face of the world.

Gaura weren't meant to be that, it's why you see them making mistakes right from the start. Case in point, the wedding fiasco.... So I really hope this skit thing, since it's already happening, will blow over super fast and isn't Gaura centric at all....

Yes!!! Absolutely yes. Every person in this world deserves to play a role of Ram and Sita. Then only people can understand what circumstances made them god. And what made us to worship them.

Just because they are playing those characters doesn't make them Ram and Sita and no one ever can become Ram and Sita.

P.S: I'm not supporting any characters of this show and I'm not aware of any BTS. I just made my point.

I think daily soaps shud leave our epics alone if they cant do justice to it ...i dont see any similarity bw Dhara-Sita ma and Gaumbi- lord Ram...esp dev and Lakshman🤪... Sasural Simar ka 1 also had done their versions of Ramayan and Mahabharat😕... And in all this Shiva and Raavi are sidelined...their MU, insecurities and all are ruined....Why????😭

You see, normally I wouldn't be bothered by these things, if it were just that, a skit. If GauRa were merely just playing the roles of Shri Ram and Sita ma.

But with PS makers' history, I know they are going to milk this. They'll draw parallels, worship GauRa and what not. Its a total trp winner. They are going to dramatize this to no extent.

Which I personally find insulting. I most definitely know that nobody in this world is ideal, and hence if I were to look for flawless people to play the roles, I'll never find them. Despite that, a certain amount of dignity is required.

Which Gaura (or any other couple in this show) do not have. It would have been best if this was avoided. Now I just hope they get it done with soon, without any further mocking of the epic.
