First of all girls are hugging and not assaulting him (intensions matter) everyday everyone hugs each other in BB house. Usually they would have pulled, pushed ,pinned ppl during task.Instead of that they hugged him...u wanted them to pin him down and sit on him ?
Nope.
The comfort level of the person being assaulted matters because there is an *offensive physical touching.* (Offensive meaning it's not consented to). The girls were in his space. The girls were touching him. The girls were confining him.
A hug being normal behavior in day-to-day life OR there being a worser example of touching (pulling, pushing, pinning) doesn't excuse behavior that may cause discomfort in the recipient individual.
Otherwise, it would be okay for me to hug every stranger - man or woman - I see walking down the road without their consent because my intent is to spread joy or whatever. If a person is discomforted by it ... their feelings don't matter because my intent wasn't harmful. That isn't the proper way to look at this.
Disclaimer: I haven't seen this portion, so I'm going off of what OP said about Pratik being uncomfortable. If he was comfortable with this, this entire thread is pointless.
