NCB officers don’t have much to loose out here - even if the allegations are proved false. They will get out unscathed.

While Aryan will be left with a teribble experience that will haunt him for the rest of his life and with his reputation damaged.

The diversion will muffle the actual issues (be it Adani or the recent murder caught on tape) . No one gets justice.

NCB is an organization. It is a team. When the credit of a successful operation goes to the team, the blame and curses of incompetence will also go to the whole team. Individuals don't matter in a baseball or cricket match.

Fact is, the condemnable deeds had not be done by the generral officers but by the chief (in collaboration with whoever wanted whatever - obviously against SRK and his family)...

Also, it’s not like they don’t have whistleblowers in the organisation to call out corrupt practices. Most of the times, people do have agency. They suffer more and risk loosing jobs but still - pilot gaurav Taneja also called out risky practices of airlines and was fired eventually but he didn’t keep his mouth shut. It takes guts to come out.. but doesn’t mean they don’t.

Officers too work on orders from the ministry, but if they are really planting drugs as claims made by Merchant guy.. it’s very serious.

Rose, the Twitterverse is full of people who calls out the condemnable practices...the effect???

Someone wrote that the vast majority of Indians have other problems than in which state their country India is...they focus only on the problems they themselves have in their lives (and that seems to be massive with the pandemie and the kind of government and propagated spirit).
