Talking about Charitraheen, I liked only Upendra's character, else some parts are really annoying specifically Kironmoyee's character. I just hate this character and using that brother of Upendra just to take revenge from Upendra was just so intolerable. The parts I liked about Charitraheen is how Upendra rejected Kironmoyee's proposal & how he fitted Sarojini for Satish.

Bharati is one of my favourite female characters I have read in novels. She is just so strong as a character that I absolutely adore her. I like "Pather Dabi" so much mainly for Bharati. Not many novels have such strong female characters like Bharati. Have you read "Biprodas"?
