This realization of Virat is so so so important yet this guy is beyond my understanding in the show. Now, I just scoff as soon he opens his mouth saying he is concerned about or that he loves Sai. yikes. Loved the chapter ❤️

Good night Jeeva muttered Virat and looks at the moon as if praying God to give him more strength and thanking him to make him realise his mistakes through Sai Jeeva ka matter toh clear hua !! he sighed and looked at the armchair on terrace and thinks that he should continue his thinking session.

Part - 3

Virat went towards the armchair and sat on it in a relaxed position. He looked at the moon for a moment to calm down his inner turmoil before starting his *Thinking Session*.

Before he could close his eyes he heard sound of footsteps coming towards the terrace. Afraid that it's Patralekha who always seem to know when he's alone he leapt from the armchair and hid behind the plants on left side of terrace.

Uffff............yaha se mein nahi dikh paunga Yay !! He does a little fist pump ✊✊ par yaha chupunga toh khujli ho jayegi he thinks while scratching his right arm Patralekha ya khujli hmmm.......... Patralekha ka samna karne se accha toh mein puri raat khujata rahu !!!! and remain in his hiding place.

Are ye Virat kaha gaya , Samrat ne toh kaha tha ki terrace pe h says a male voice. Huh !! Ye Patralekha mardo ki awaz mein kyu bol rahi h thinks Virat confused and peeped from his hiding place and saw Sunny looking down from the railing as if looking for someone Ye railing se neeche kyu dekh raha h ise kya lagta h mein vaha se kud gaya mumbles Virat and came out of his hiding place relieved that it's Sunny not Patralekha.

Virat went behind Sunny silently and tapped on his shoulder. Startled Sunny turned around fast and seeing Virat so close he got scared and screamed Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhaaahh!!! Shocked by Sunny's sudden scream Virat stumbled back and fell on his butt.

For a 2 minutes both just stared at each other , Virat stared at Sunny whose eyes are wide open along with his mouth kam se kam chilla toh nhi raha ab thinks Virat absentmindedly , while Sunny stared at Virat who's still sitting on the floor rubbing his bum and giving him a weird look.

Virat : Tu pagal h aaise kon chillata h kaan pe mujhe heart attack aa jata toh !!!!

Sunny : Tu pagal h aaise achanak se piche se kaun darata h mujhe heart attack aa jata toh !!!

Both shouted at eachother together. Virat stood up still rubbing his bum Ye tu railing se neeche kya dekh raha tha tujhe kya lagta hai mein neeche kud gaya yaha se , aur mujhe dekhkar itni jor se chillaya kyu hmm....mein bhoot hu !?? asked Virat. Oye mein railing se neeche dekh raha tha ki tu kahi garden mein toh nahi h.......aur rahi chillane ki baat toh tu aaise achanak se tapkega toh mein chillaunga nhi toh kya Salsa karunga........aur tu aaya kaha se mujhe toh kahi nahi dikha terrace pe !??? retorted Sunny.

Aree voh.......voh toh mein vaha paudho ke peeche chupa hua tha na Mujhe laga ki voh aa ra..a..a........Virat trailed off when he realised what he said and mentally cursed his stupidity.

Sunny raised a single eyebrow and asks kya laga kaun aa raha tha..........????Virat gulped and mumbles P..t...l.ka..... Sunny says Kya !???? Kya badbada raha h dhang se bol Virat gritted his teeth and said Patralekha !! Now Sunny's second eyebrow joined the first one both raised high in surprise and he spoke in a calm voice Tujhe laga ki Patralekha yaha aa rahi h toh tu paudho ke peeche chup gaya ??? Virat mumbled an agreement and Sunny bursted out laughing.

Ee.....he..hehe...he.....IPS officer ACP Vi...Virat Chavan ek po.... police officer jis....ne terrorists ki bhi band ba.....baja di vo....voh apni BHABHI SE DARR KE CHUP GAYA !!! Sunny managed to say this inbetween his laughter. Virat shot him a irritated look and punched his arm Ouch !! Maar kyu raha h mere bhai tune he toh kaha tu Patralekha ki vajah se vaha chup gaya said Sunny while looking at him with mirthful eyes.

Han toh aur kya karu ?? Tujhe toh pata h na aaj cafe mein usne kya baat kari mujhse *shudders* tujhe lagta h mujhe aaise me usse akele mein milna chahiye ??? said Virat. Sunny giggles and says ACP Chavan ko apni izzat ka darr ??? Ha..ha...ha...vaise hasi mazak side ye accha h ki tu ab usse duri bana raha h........ab toh tujhe uska asli roop pata chal gaya na jab mein uss din jab Sai bhabhi Pulkit ke ghar ruki thi aur mein tujhe samjha raha tha aur uss Patralekha ki class le raha tha tab toh tu bada mujhpe chilla raha tha ki mein chup ho jau !!! Virat winced at that , he is finally realising how wrong he was to defend her everytime Mujhe dusro ko use sunane se nahi rokna chaiye tha...........khud apni harkato pe Beizzati karvati toh shayad akal thikane aa jati...............dekha jai toh iss sab se use anjanne mein he sahi but meine he encourage kia h says Virat and curses himself par ab aur nahi........ab toh dho dho ke Beizzati hogi uski apni vahiyat harkato ke liye swore Virat.

Virat looked at Sunny and said Accha ab tu chup hoja aur muje mera thinking session shuru karne de Sunny raised his hands in peace and gestures him to go on. Virat went towards the armchair and sat down again and started his thinking session. He thought back to the wedding day and realised how wrong he was to go and meet Patralekha right after his marriage , it just cemented Sai's belief about Patralekha being the girl he talked about. He thought even if it was a deal marriage at that time it was wrong of him to leave Sai alone just after parikrama to talk to Patralekha , she might not have accepted him as husband that time but it would surely have been humiliating for her.

He then thought about Graha Pravesh and remembered his family's behaviour. Sai was already hurt and pained because of Aaba's death and then his family who was supposed to be her family also insulted her so much. Both have expected anger from the family but the downright humiliating and disgusted reaction his family gave must have hurt her so much , she might have lost most of her hope of gaining another family after her Aaba's death. And him , the one who promised to protect her ,to take care of her failed so badly that day. He should have been more forceful and stern towards his family that day.

Virat is crying silently thinking about the pain Sai must have felt that day , during his thinking session he's also feeling what Sai would have felt by putting himself at her place. He then remembered how he left her alone in a new house specially after such a humiliating and hurtful welcome by his family and went to talk to his family and Patralekha. He should have been there with her to console her , to give her support , to tell her that everything will be alright but no him being the biggest idiot he left her alone And she was just 18 year old girl who lost her only family just 3-4 days ago !!! thinks Virat.

Wiping his tears he started remembering the following ritual days. He remembered how he didn't spent much time with her and how he told her to take guidance from Patralekha to become mature like her and Sai's pinched and insulted expression meri bhi mati mari gyi thi jo Sai ko uss aurat se maturity sikhne ko kaha ki uski tarah mature bane......... Patralekha ne maturity word ki Beizzati kar rakhi h Hmmmm..........Virat stopped suddenly and thought back to his words Mature bano Patralekha ki tarah........... Patralekha....ki...tarah.......bano Sai and he came to a sudden realisation.

Eyes opened wide he leapt from his chair and holds Sunny by his collar and says THAPPAD MAAR MUJHE !!! Sunny shocked by his sudden outburst managed to spit out Kyaa ?????

MENE KAHA THAPPAD MAAR MUJHE , THAPPAD MAAR....... says Virat and keep telling Sunny to slap him. Still in shock by his outburst and his continuous insistence Sunny pushed him away , raised his hand and SMACK !!! 👋👋 He slapped Virat HARD on his left cheek leaving a perfect handprint on his face

Ouuchh !!! screams Virat and came back to his senses and rubbed his cheek. Virat's eyes teared up from the pain and says to Sunny Saale itni jor se kyu mara ??? Sunny offended says Oyee.......tu he tha jo mujhe thappad maar , Mujhe thappad maar kare ja raha tha......mein shocked ho gaya tha toh mene thapak se jad diya ek gives him a glare and continues vaise tune thappad marne ko kyu kaha ???

Virat then remembered his thoughts and hysterically says Yaar mene ye kya kiya.......mene Sai ko pata nhi kitni baar kaha ki Patralekha se maturity sikhe uski TARAH mature bane.........yaar mene usse ek tarah dekha jaye toh ye kaha ke Patralekha jaise bane .............yaar MENE APNI BIWI SE KAHA KI MERI EX JAISE BANE..........voh baat alag h ke Patralekha aur mera koi rishta shuru nhi hua tha par Sai ke liye toh voh meri ex he h na aur mene kaha ki uski tarah bane he smacked his forehead with his hand and then hid his face with both hands.

Sunny gave Virat a blank look for a minute them softly says Virat...... Virat looked up at Sunny's voice when SMACK ! 👋👋 another slap lands on his right cheek this time.

Startled by sudden pain and shocked by sudden slap he put his hand on his right cheek and winced Saach mein pada !!! he thinks and looked up at his friend. Seeing the furious look on his friends face he gulped and thinks I am doomed !! and prays to Bappa to help him.

Nice! Finally he is reflecting and realizing. Thappad padhne seh shaayad aur bhi clarity milegi. He needs to recall the "n" number of times he has let Sai down....all his actions/inactions pertaining to pp have diluted all the good he has done for Sai.
