This is mostly inspired from the bts we got of RR sleeping on Pallavi's lap and her bending over him.
Pallavi saw the starless night sky stare back at her from the open terrace. The silent winds blowing were pleasant and cool and rustled her long luscious locks lovingly like a mother. She looked down and saw him fast asleep curled like an overgrown puppy in her lap. She brought his hand back which was sticking out and placed her other hand gently on his head. He shifted in his sleep and turned to face her next, almost snuggling closer to her warmth unconsciously.
Pallavi could swear she felt her heart blow two sizes bigger at that.
Oh how she loved this man!
Sometimes she herself was taken aback by the sheer amount of love she had stored inside her him. She had taken a bullet thus effectively proving to the Universe that she can die for him and today she had been convinced herself that she could kill for him too. It was with a Herculean effort that she had restrained herself from barging into Esha's office and put a bullet between her eyes. There was a bloody limit to everything!
She had returned from work today only to see Raghav sitting on the couch in their terrace and staring at the empty sky. He looked drained. Both physically and emotionally. Esha, his old flame and apparently the one woman he had dared to love only to get his heart broken had barged unannounced in their lives since the past week upsetting their personal life majorly. Raghav had initially absolutely refused to work with her but unfortunately the choice had been taken out of his hands by the present circumstances.
Three of his showrooms had to be shut due to the repayment of the custom duties and accumulated taxes he had evaded and he had to sell them. The only group willing to pay that much money was the Dasari group and that meant he had to work with Esha. And in the midst of it he also had to deliver the pink diamonds for the crown within deadline without engaging in anything illegal. Keerti was having a tough time swinging between whether she wanted the pregnancy or not. Sunny was as usual getting on his nerves. And over that his wife had cunningly thrown away most of his bar.
And on top of that Esha had made it her mission to make him feel as miserable as possible. Her constant emotional blackmail was twisting his mind, draining him emotionally to the extremes. He wasn't built for this shit! He couldn't feel anything other than mistrust and apathy for her even yet the guilt of misunderstanding her intentions was eating away at him. But worse was the fact that he was constantly feeling as if he is hurting Pallavi. The guilt of that was what was more painful than all the above put together.
And today he had had enough. He felt as if he would collapse mentally from the pressure. He didn't even notice as Pallavi had come over and had kneeled in front of him.
"Raghav.."
Pallavi felt her heart twist in ache seeing his eyes shine and a few crystals spill on his cheeks next. She had his hands in her.
"I am sorry Pallavi....I.."
"Shsh.. its okay love. We'll talk later."
She sat beside him and urged him to lie on her lap. Raghav immediately curled into her and caught her hand. She had just started caressing his hair before he was out like the light. She had smiled and bent over his shoulder to rest her head against it gently.
She bent towards his face and kissed on his forehead and over his tear tracks softly. Raghav continued to sleep still as she threaded her fingers idly through his thick curls.
Pallavi looked up again at the dark sky and saw the moon play hide and seek with the clouds next. A serenity overcame her frazzled nerves and she smiled rectifying her previous observation in her mind.
The sky wasn't starless.
The stars were just hidden....
