Well you know I've never seen Neil as a great actor. People feel that Virat is made for Neil....but honestly I didn't like his acting at all in the beginning. Neil as Virat has been an acquired taste for me.

Even in the beginning, during SaiRat fight scenes, i felt Ayesha's acting exposed Neil's deficiencies. No matter how rough around the edges and inexperienced Ayesha is, raw talent was always visible. I like NeilSha's chemistry (which is awesome) better than Neil's acting.

I'm not saying Neil is a bad actor - he acts certain understated scenes well. But he is still not a top notch actor - good enough is how I see him. I find most ITV actors below par.....Neil is better in that way.

I don't notice all his expressions minutely....i just go by the overall effect an actor is having on me. I get affected by Ayesha, Barun, Karan Patel ... Neil's acting lacks heart. Again not saying he is bad - he is limited. In that way i feel he has slightly improved 🙊. But I don't have too many expectations anyway.

I think I don't go by any expectations as far as ITV is concerned - either in terms of acting or other technicalities. For me sab kuch chalta hai. The only lesson I've still not learnt is letting go of the plot - I keep cribbing about it still. 😆

Karan Patel was fab in angry scenes and comic timing...I dont think anyone can beat him there.. Though he got bored with YHM eventually...

Neil's acting ..I might use the word is acting...very put on and not natural...He just acts...like you say lacks heart...But recently it looks caricaturist to me...Matlab meme ban jaye har scene ka..

Ayesha still I think has so much to work on, especially her body language, her voice modulation and dialogue delivery...But I do think she always had an upper hand in their confrontational scenes..in their fight scenes...I think Jaffar got the best in her...

Recently she brings in the pout and all in her crying, which does not go with the emotions...I still feel her best crying scenes were when her Aaba died..,that broke my heart....and the ones where she cried in Virat's room all alone at O ri chidaiya... Then the other favourite is her GC breakdown before and after Virat meets her... Still when she cries or gets emotional, like recently she did got a tear or two...Neil did not do that to me..ever...

Barun SObti, his breakdown when he got to know about Khushi ...Gosh he was so good...But I think that show had good directors...This show never had any good director after Jaffer...They could not even keep a crisp execution for a year...

I really liked her when after Harini confrontation...the way she said to Virat "Mujhe dard dete hain, takleef pahuchate hain" ...that was so nicely done...

Her confrontations with Patralekha/Virat/family the day after Harini kaand, is my personal favourite..

Ayesha is better at light hearted scenes, better than Neil...She is very good at being goofy...

Coming to Neil I think he is good at action scenes...because he has been doing it for a long time..I mean the basic ones...He has issues with proximity that's established anyway... He was good at subtle nuances but those nuances are no more worth watching, because he has started playing dumb charades now...So yeah...

I think for mei Neilesha(onscreen only, offscreen to I would want Ayesha to run away)>> Ayesha>>>> Neil . I mean in terms of connection...I am sure Neil is a good actor, but does not work for me...not anymore to be honest..

I know people criticize Ayesha's acting too..but for me it's fine .... every actor will have good days and bad days.... especially in daily soaps where they need to continuously work. Arnav was the only character who worked for me in each and every scene. Yeah....the pouting and crying is becoming a little repetitive....I tend to see the overall picture in soap....and overall Ayesha works for me as Sai. She is no way polished ....still has to make improvements....but she has got what it takes is what I feel. If she shows keenness, she will pick up the skills to be a fine actor. My personal favourite - confrontation with Virat in GC after ousting.

But you are absolutely right about the director. Very crucial for actors performance....unless the actor is super-experienced. Current director is horrible in that respect. IPKKND director was really good. I want to see Barun in other shows....to know how good he is (he is good).

Off topic....Leena Gangopadhyay is good at picking up the psychological nuances...but that's about it. I hate her plots and screenplay - its forced and intolerable.

Barun has been good in his web series and his movies... Honestly..Asur surprised me, I never imagined he could do that...Barun's issue is his dialogue delivery, it lacks clarity...

That way Neil has been hailed as an experienced actor...He had more experience than Barun Sobti had when he did ASR...But he is coming across very difficult to watch these days...Ayesha atleast does not make it difficult to watch..

I always believed that she was better than Neil in mostly all her confrontation scenes.. The only one where he matched was the Amey one , both the confrontations..

And her Bas Pakhi didi when she removed pakhi's hand was so so brilliantly done...Ab Neil gave such confused statements.. He always gives those statements when as per Virat Sai crosses her limit with Pakhi...

I think for a book Leena was fine, for a daily show if its a long running one its no one's cup of tea...You seen even YHM storyline was , the premise was so good, but what they made it into...But atleast they had good tracks, good direction even when the actors were at loggerheads..

Whats with this whole Pakhi should get a chance with Samrat..

Why are women confused between two men in order to spoil their life glorified..Happened in the movie Marziyaan...as well...

Yeah Barun mumbles with his dialogues😆. Got to see Asur .

My problem with Leena's writing is that it has gone bad within one year. Most successful soaps are reasonable until atleast a year(even YHM). Then it goes into crazy territory. I could not stand ghum after a couple of months. It was not due to the abusive content....just the ridiculous kick kuch again and again....and lack of creativity in tracks. Compare IPKKND screenplay - tight for a daily soap although I agree it has some ridiculous plots too...but I never got bored.

I prefer Pakistani shows anyday to ITV. It's in no way progressive.....it may not be relatable too...but it's is never insincere. Egoistic mothers-in-law are not glorified as mamata ki moorthy, people's crimes are dealt with, and narrow-minded or misogynistic men are not projected as feminists. The insincerity in ITV serials is the reason I don't feel like watching. And the acting in Pakistani shows is good too.

Pakhi should get a chance with Samrat? Kaun bola?

I find a woman/man confused between two men/women storyline cringy....mere samajh ke baahar hai. It means the said person has some issues which needs to be sorted out. What's there to glorify in it ?

I agree about Neil. He is also good at comic scenes or light hearted scenes. Emotional ones he is not at all good...his voice modulation today was like a teenager bawling!! Though overall today, I kind of understood his hurt. I still am not comfortable with the fact that he thought his hurt gives him the leeway to abuse Sai! Period.

Neil has really degenerated. I used to like to watch him on screen. There was an understanding of Virat in whatever he did, and that was good to watch. For a daily soap, I truly believe the actors need to push themselves, especially after a year. It can become repetitive, irrational..but being an experienced actor, he should know how to handle it. I think he is just busy with his personal life at this point. Sad but true.

Ayesha is improving. She is clearly not getting any direction, none other them are. Ashwini Saraswat is terrible. But yet, what gives me hope is she pushes herself to bring out the emotion. She can make me cry. She will go places. I'm curious about what she will do next.

Neil I have given up. His fans feel it's hate but no,b it's just indifference. I will still praise him if he gets through this track convincingly. But otherwise, he as an actor doesn't interest me anymore.

Have you all noticed Kishori Ma'am too has become so linear in her expressions?? Her about turn today was not at all convincing. Such a senior actress! Somewhere the director is failing big time. Yogi was too too thanda today!

Oh yes it never bored you..If not anything the light moments were so much fun...And Shyam was a creep but audience loves Abhaas... Its unfair he did not get more work later... I got bored in IPK only when Barun got bored...Honestly there was not much to show and they ended it, even though the TRPs were high...

I replied in the post, where the one talked about separating Sai and Virat and then making Samrat and Pakhi discover each other and move on...If TRps does not work get back the triangle..considering she removed her hand from Virat's after seeing Samrat's reaction..EMotional cheating ki koi value hai bhi ya nahi

Okay just saw the precap... First looking at the thumbnail I thought it is edited..but then....

I mean why only holding hands ,hug her and cry dear Virat! She is ur "best friend" ..and for what purpose "best friends" are!? For sharing ur sukh dukh na... !😡

And he is begging to her to pray for Sai.. How inconsistent writing! Don't they remember what has she done in past? Kya paagal log hai yaar? He really thinks that she will pray? Arey she doesn't even care about her being human.

Really a cringefest! Haven't seen the episode as usual and seeing precap I don't think i'll search for clips on IG also! Sai is admitted so no Sai scene so till when will they continue with this Devar Bhabhi melodrama stretching????

First they showed him like a teenager being madly in love but don't forget u writers that he is elder in age and he should behave that way! Ye kya hai?!? Rejection mil gaya toh he is behaving like Devdas! Devdas bhi theek tha but domestic violence? (Too late to write this but didn't feel like saying anything then but now it is just intolerable 😔)

P.S. Safe place to rant!😆

I know that is what amuses me, how do you feel its hate for Neil if Ayesha is getting more love , I mean thats petty. Neil was being liked in many scenes even when he announced his Roka....I thought he is so good at that jealousy tracks, when I saw him reacting to Aniket, I felt I have not seen anyone close to him..However see the same man expressing jealousy , when it comes to Ajinkya...Thats where he deteriorated.. Neil as an actor is someone who would never make me sign up his show... Wont even give him a chance...mostly because of his acting and less because of his conduct and attitude towards other characters and actors..

Even Kishori S was so bad...When Ashwini got to take up the role of the director, there was no looking back for this show in terms of getting better..

Again coming back to Ayesha, this show in terms of character might be good for her,but in terms of direction might take her downwards, she needs a better director in order to hone her skills.. She still gets to me with her scenes..

Have you noticed both Aishwarya and Neil did not comment on Adish's final bbye post...😆

The GHKKPM trend was a resounding flop . I'm feeling really bad..though. we have never had a flop trend. And Ayesha's trend yesterday crossed 90k

Now they're changing it to Sairat from noon..to see if it works.
