I have two questions:

1) Why would the BJP go after SRK? What is their animosity with him?

2) Why didn't they go after Amir who made the infamous 'intolerance' comment?

The NCB definitely messed up big time in the SSR and Rhea case. But that had a reason. SSR's suicide was a huge tragedy which shook up the whole country, and BJP wanted to benefit from it. Bihar elections etc.

But this seems rather out of the blue. Why would the BJP target SRK for no reason? Whatever has he done to piss them off that much?

I'd honestly love to know.

Also the terminology used to critique the ruling party is off putting. Bhakt and similar words have very deep meaning & emotional connect in our culture.

Is anyone even concerned about drugs or crime? Everything takes a political turn in India, when you give something an ideological spin, you don’t understand that you are giving that wrong deed a support of people who follow that ideology. SRK’s son was arrested and it has nothing to do with BJP, if anything Shah will get help of the same BJP if he needs it we are not kids here

Political parties don’t act like walls, politicians and every other powerful person remains in power because everyone is helping each other

I mean Modi is not going after big politicians in old cases of corruption, he will plant drugs on SRK’s son
