Samee feeling ..lol what is he even doing on the show. I guess cashing on his brother’s fame. I doubt he’s done any thing as a doctor which is such a noble profession.

I would never turn to this if I had an MBBS degree. The prestige that comes with it is irreplaceable. I have been planning on doing my PhD forever and I still haven’t been through. Umar Riaz has no business in the glam world. But who am I to judge - to each, their own.

Our District magistrate is a Paralympics medalist. He is an IAS officer. His wife is a PCS officer and got selected for Mrs. India contest. Their work is equally appreciable . They can pursue their dreams then why can't a doctor??

and don't tell me ki IAS log yunhi ban jaye hai their job is very difficult.

and if you remember Miss World Manushi Chhillar is also a doctor.

You totally missed the point here. Don’t get me wrong, I am not undermining you or your academic efforts, but an MBBS graduate, especially a surgeon, is definitely on top of the academic food chain. The amount of dedication and hard work, coupled with unmatched perseverance, a doctor puts in to graduate, no one can. It’s not that a doctor cannot pursue their dreams. It’s just that quitting the profession to pursue the glam world dream is just something I can’t fathom. The glam world is filled with filth! There are graduates and drop-outs alike. Substance abuse and vulgarity have become a norm in the glam world. A surgeon doesn’t need this. He is a resource, an asset to our nation. Moreover, being a Kashmiri, the onus of him being true to his field becomes even more heavier on him. That land, with its constant political destruction, could use more surgeons and medical professionals.

What nakes you think he quits medicine? I am also pursuing a Phd but I have other passions as well.

Some tabloid reported it. This was during the earlier days of OTT, when Umar was being considered as one of the contestants. And yes, you too missed the point, so I’m not going to repeat my rhetoric here.
