And in the last episode of KD, the entire problem was resolved with just 'ek chutki sindoor. '
Have you watched the last episode of KD by any chance?
What many viewers failed to realize during Kusum Dola and now also in Ghum is that how disturbing it is/was for Sai/Emon to witness the relationship between her husband and his ex. It is a type of psychological abuse which Virat is inflicting on his wife. And Sai, according to the story is just 19 years old. More than a husband who is grappling with his insecurities and ego, she needs a guardian who is solid and unwavering in his stance. This is the main phase of her life. Give that girl a father figure, please. Romance can come later - when both Virat and Sai will be ready for it. Sai should not come back to CNiwas.
I know the whole presence of the third person in two people's life has been undermined by many, including the makers just because there is not a physical relationship between the Bhabhi , but they have everything else and the devar and because the ML has been shown to be constantly muttering to himself "I Love Sai" , "I Love Sai"!!
By having him put Sindoor giving lovey dovey looks to his wife, after harassing the wife with his ex just some 12 hours back, knowing very well she is low and probably leaving, one cannot talk about the sanctity of marriage. The sanctity of marriage cannot be established by just putting sindoor, romancing and giving gifts and not having physical intimacy with the third person involved..The sanctity was destroyed the moment the ex gets to not just interfere but also name call the wife, with the husband joining the bandwagon when he is supposedly hurt, knowing completely well the ex's intentions against the wife... The sanctity was destroyed long back...The third woman , the ex, or rather the first woman has been treated and prioritized too many times over wife when it comes to giving respect.
