While I agree that it’s ridiculous, I will blame Imlie for still staying there Esp. After NN’s bhaashan, how can she stay there when the baby comes. This is a wife who never could claim her husband hers until recently and even then, hasn’t gotten an opportune moment to be with him (yes, a 19 yr old) and now, she has to resign to the fact that a baby is coming and he/she will be put first.

Wouldn’t this all point in a direction of value thyself first and leave from there? Or is she hoping the baby is fake? Or what will be her long term plan in all this? Poor thing if she ever gets a breather from all the plotting against her, maybe she will have a moment to ponder over next things. Here they won’t even let her have that moment to think it through.

I’d like to know the reasoning behind her wanting to stay in the triangle out in the open (other than rain, lightning or spring type dialogues, which wouldn’t suite such mature storylines; cannot make it mature in some stances and make it obvious in others). Maybe expecting consistency is too much here.

In fact, we have this medium to discuss and get another viewpoint and analyze every dialogue, how many people sitting at homes (aunts, grandmothers, moms) can relate and analyze at this level?
sorry for the ramble.

Maybe cuz he called a rapist a rapist?😳....and also acknowledged that "Goddess" ji emotionally blackmailed him for 7 years with her endless fainting and then later on through suicide attempts?

Baaki he's justifying Adi's choice to fixate on the baby above everyone else - maybe that's why people are upset too😆.....cuz ek taraf he is acknowledging that his character was raped and on the other hand he is not showing any acknowledgement that there should be consequences for the person who acquired a baby through rape.....or how a baby through rape should be treated in a story. Sab khichdi banaa di hai and they are downplaying and normalizing such sensitive issues in the need to only play up the baby.

This! While I had no patience to read the answers because the question itself were a thesis. I glanced and browsed through it. Uske answers bhi wohi gol gol hain- bas bol deta, here to do the job, I am the best, baki ka dont know dont care! The usual GM style. Atleast that is the gist I got. But the halla that is on birdie app is so uncalled for. Oh and also that he called Malini an emotional blackmailer and rapist did not sit well with the delusional side of the fandom. 🤷‍♀️

I have not bothered to read the article.

All I can get from its gist is that this bina dimaagwala Adi is here to stay cause baccha🤪.

Don't keep any expectations from him or the show😳.

Losing interest in your show is one thing but the makers are taking it to another level by messing up all that we ever loved about the show be it Adi or Imlie. Both are behaving OOC because for the current ghatiya story to work, they cannot behave with their original character traits.

Malini cult ko choriye unka alag chalta hai 😆

Bold: The whole crux of it what I thought was ‘I am not given any reasons so I am trying to make sense of it any which way I can, instead of content see what a great actor I am’ and the constant kid thing and length of interview makes me think lamba track hai plus they’re writing just for the sake of writing no big end ka koi vision they haven’t themselves decided fake hai ya real.. they’re normalising it as if not a big deal har doosre din hota hai .. ffs man there was no turmoil or monologue or anything attached too seedha acceptance of baby .. being a principled person and not wanting a baby to be born in jail is one thing and having such fatherly feelings for it forgetting a crime was committed completely different .. and be ready ‘care for malini’ on way too ..

This IV is part2 of GM's live session after prank. It is basically to tell viewers to expect lot of cringe in the name of baby. Malini planning and winning and planning and winning as if that has not been happening for last 2 months already.

Toh hai hi nahi kuch again dimaag main chal raha hai inka parallel story I mean the explanations he gave some of them are from.charavter pov what he thinks should have conveyed but storywise nahi aa raha he is trying to sound convinced but woh bhi nahi hi raha hai again for him it maybe clear caz he has to imagine that scenario and play it out in his head but for us it is not that so he may think it had been delivered as an actor but actually it hasn't..🤷‍♀️ a lot of it was just typical GM style repetition and trying to convince us of it when he himself isn't and we stand corrected ke adi ko adi banane main big hand is of GM and wohi conviction laata rah ahai so far and ab isne El tarah se haath khada kar lia hai ke ab I do not know iske aage mere se hoga ke nahi as he clearly said ke idk iske aage mere improvisations ya kuch kaam karega as the material is so shit

As I was saying at this rate inka kya hai yeh itne bhuddho hain ke inko woh bacha de bhi de kahin se laa ke yeh ma'am lenge ke inka hi hai🤷‍♀️

@bold: Yes, that seems to be the gist of what he's conveyed.....that the story is just continuing for the heck of it, there is no larger arc or intent at this point....the writers are taking it one day at a time and that is why the characters flip from one scene to the next or from one epi to the next.

Show mein toh kisi ne acknowledge nahin kiya rape ko directly and are trying to downplay it by using generic descriptions of "marzi nahin thi, zabardasti ki".....but with GM now explicitly using the word rape in this IV to describe what happened to Adi, it's even harder to turn away from what they are showing. Even a woman who has a baby through rape will struggle with the issue, have some turmoil about the child.....but here they are showing a man who instantly accepted a baby that came about via rape and barely seems perturbed about it....instead he is only upset that Imlie is angry with him over it? 😕. On one hand, GM is trying to paint this grand image of Adi as a victim who has so much trauma, on the other hand we are being shown that a victim of trauma doesn't even have two token thoughts of feeling conflicted about a rape baby?

No point even getting into the depraved woman Malini who acquired the baby through rape cuz she ofcourse will feel entitled to everything.....if the situation was reversed and the rape had been done to her, then they would have suddenly tried to make a hue and cry over the atyachaar on a woman and her conflict over being impregnated via rape. But here they are saying ki it's a man so it's easy for him to instantly accept the child.....so again, why do all that hue and cry over why society won't accept that a man can be raped? Ultimately the writing itself is justifying that thought process and showing that no one cares that a man was raped, let's all just jump to accepting the rape baby instantly without any sense of internal conflict😕.

Anyways only amusing thing in this IV to me is that GM acknowledged the truth of Malini at long last.....lol only took his character being raped by her for him to do this acknowledgement? Toh show mein Adi ki aakhon se patti na hati ho, GM ke aakhon se toh hati in trying to call Malini a "perfect Goddess" previously😆.....

The show has just made a big stinking mess🤢of such a sensitive issue that it will be difficult for the show to recover from it. As everyone mentioned rape ko hi normalise kar diya hai. Adi ko toh 5 year old ke bacche se bhi kam akkal ka yeda dikha rahe hai which makes it even more disgusting that he is the one who is doing aao bhagat of his own rapist🤢.

GM had no blind spot regarding rapist Didi ka character. Iske initial interviews se hi pata chalta hai that he knew Rapist Didi is a ghatiya insaan who emotionally blackmailed Adi & was a shakki wife always. But I think baad main puri cast ko hi Rapist Didi ke character ke baare main phul barsane ko kaha gaya kyunki they were trying to promote her as modern, progressive, independent woman out of the show when show main toh aisa kuch bhi nahi dikha rahe the😆. But good for GM that he is at least acknowledging that Adi was raped & Didi is a rapist. Rapist Didi is toh apparently telling people to not watch the show😛.

PS: Missed to tag Naadan & Spelano.
