Would anyone of you freak out if you and your bf haven’t gone public but he agrees to go out for dinner with my friends (in front of me) fully knowing that he made plans with me? He said he only did it because he felt bad saying no to them.

He then later told them that he forgot he made plans with me so he can’t make it. I’ve been pissed off since. Fair or overreaction?

Are you pissed that he agreed to go dinner with your friends despite having plans with you? Did the friends dinner include you as well or was it just going to be exclusively them? Also not going public meaning nobody knows you guys are dating?

My boyfriend doesn’t even acknowledge me on Social media 😆

I think you should go public without his permission and just let the Chips falls 😆

I knew he wasn’t actually gonna go because just seconds ago he was planning dinner with me. And yes the friends dinner plans included me too.

Yes I didn’t go public initially because one of the guys knows my parents but the plan was to slowly let ppl know. Also these aren’t my close friends but more of a secondary large group of friends. And this was his first time meeting them so I felt very awkward and embarrassed that he would agree to go for dinner with them. Then when I asked him to correct himself he said “sorry I forgot I made plans with her so can’t come”

He wanted to go public, I was the one who stopped him. But after meeting everyone (these aren’t my close friends) all of a sudden it’s like I’m a no nobody (in front of them).
