More than being oblivious, the problem with Dev and most characters this season has been that none have learnt from their past mistakes. Dev despite having experience of his hiding things from his wife , has been catastrophic for his relationship , will not share the truth with his wife .

He just doesn't understand where he needs to draw the lines , be it his mom , or now Sanjana. He just lacks perceptiveness and foresight . The best way in this situation would have been to tell Sanjana in no uncertain terms that she's toeing lines and serve her with the termination, right there . You don't think about her livelihood when the woman isn't worried about her own , breaching professional ethics by proposing to boss right in the workplace.

Dev reaction to sanjana was so pheeka.

Here a girl that is ur employ for only few days is proposing u and still u r keeping her job. Why don’t just throw her out😡

Dev wouldn't let Tina speak two extra words though she was his most loyal employee. Even with Riya, he was strict when she joined his office. Forget everything, even with Sonakshi, he was so firm & blasted her when she put his phone on silent without his permission. Also, the guy can be very ruthless when the need arises. Case in point is Ranveer & Ayaan.

And the writers are saying that Dev is this passive & doesn't react to someone repeatedly breaching his privacy & being really unprofessional at that.

And Sonakshi was always smart. She could figure out Ayaan was bluffing in less than two meets and wasn't satisfied with any explanation he or his family gave. And she was never the person to indulge in match making and shit. She was a lovely girl but she never interfered in anyone's life apart from her family's.

They really could have shown all this by naming this show anything other than Kuch Rang. When you say it's a continuation, the least you can do is make them behave like the Dev and Sonakshi we know.

Now the entire characters became a bunch of “fools”

except “ psycho Sanj”

Says she is busy and her message is conveyed ask him to take his time to go deep in to the water find the “ love stone she threw”

Instead he gives her “ a promotional transfer to another branch”

He looked mildly annoyed and as always confused when sanj was confessing her love😆 Arre Dev showed much more anger when Sona put his phone on silent in S1 and he retaliated by smashing her phone to pieces. Here an employee of 2 weeks is talking and behaving in an obsessed, insane, inappropriate manner but no anger whatsoever😆

Why did he let her talk so much ? He should have fired her the minute she started spewing her crap. Why does he take so much sh*t from a mere employee? Whats wrong with him, retaining her in his company and on top of that giving her a promotion? Dev is the dumbest CEO that ever lived.

Won't share anything with Sona in the name of 'protecting' her. All these years together and so much counselling but still zero clue how to communicate with your partner. Hiding things - as he has seen multiple times in the past- has backfired on him so badly. It's insulting to your partner when you decide for them that they can't handle the truth. She's a grown woman and can take it. And he owes it to her to be honest and upfront.

I thought Ayush track was bad but that looks better now compared to Sanjana. And I realised the track won't last a day if Dev and Sona behaved in character. Dev lied mainly for his mother and Sonakshi. It's nonsense that he might lie for a random employee even if it is to protect Sonakshi. And even this Soha issue makes no sense? Even if she is the maasi, she can't really claim custody in court. The whole track is rubbish and something they can wrap up in half an hour but they are dragging it for more than a month now 🙄

I think they initially planned to show something else altogether, maybe Dev seeking solace in Sanju with him and Sonakshi being in a rough patch, but then the audience reaction was so bad that they just kept this one side "love" concept going for 20+ episodes
