I think this has been the most logical execution of Imlie rescuing yetš. Other times there was always suspension of belief required but this time the makers made Imlie rescue herself using her quick mind. So kudos to that š. Also Adi also played an important role in the rescue by alerting the authorities about the crime & giving more time to Imlie as well. If Adi had not alerted authorities, the flight attendant would not have been so alert towards any passengers being in trouble. So he ably assisted Imlie in the rescue. This was a true partnership work done without communicating with each other & just having faith in their belief.
Imlie-Dadda scene was the show stealer for meā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø. It was so good to see them both in happier times & Dadda giving life lessons to his gudiya to never let fear stop her from helping herself & to be calm in times of troubles so that she can find the solution for her troubles within her own self. Aww at Dadda guiding his gudiya so sweetly to be independent. So much conveyed in simple terms with no faltu bhaashanbaazi on feminismš. This scene is what is called true parentingšš¼. No wonder Imlie has grown up into such a self-sufficient independent woman who never gets defeated by adversity. She has had wonderful mentors in her Amma & Daddaā¤ļø.
I loved how Imlie showed extreme presence of mind in not alerting the goon that she was literate. She made him feel all is alright so that he wouldn't be vigilant as required. Her using the letters to ask for help was brilliant. But here is where Adi's help came into play because the air hostess was already alert about trouble brewing, she made the effort to go & check for clues herself. Police was alerted & the girls finally got rescued. Imlie & the girls beating the goons was so satisfying to watch. The girls & police thanked Imlie for rescuing & preventing a crime from happening.
Adi was informed that his information was correct & that his wife has been rescued. Imlie saw Adi & called out to him. I really liked the teherav of both of them moving towards each other & then hugging each other in relief & happiness that they are still together. It was a brief moment but the relief & happiness came through beautifullyā¤ļø.
Imlie informed BS about their family being in trouble & they reached their house with police to rescue. Imlie & Adi entered the house through a window, saw their family being threatened & then did Halla bol on the goons throwing whatever kitchen utensils that they could get their hands on. The family members also started beating the goons & that was one hilarious visualš¤£. Finally Sundar let the police in & the goons were captured. In the end Imlie asked her Maa- Papa whether they were alright & her Papa instead asked whether she if fine...awwie. Aparna's look towards Imlie was full of love & relief. Yeh pahad pighal chuka hai for Imlie & in the end the entire family surrounded Imlie in the warmth of their worry & love for herš³.
I think today's epi illustrated the central storyline very effectively. This is Imlie's journey of empowerment with the support of her partner & family. Imlie is the hero of the show & Adi is the one who supports her to achieve her goals.
I don't know yeh mere aankhon ka dhoka tha ya sach but I think I saw a framed photo of Adi-Imlie together in a romantic pose after Adi-Imlie entered the house through the windowš². Can someone please confirm it pleaseš.
