These shows are watched by young impressionable girls too ..putting these narrow boundaries is forcing people to get married early without giving a thought about career… trust me I had a personal experience…

I have an elder sister she rushed and got married at the age of 28 to a guy she found on matrimonial site and barely known for a month.. and immediately tried for a child.. later on I asked her what was the rush and she replied she thought she can’t become a mother post 30 .. and I was like what? 😲

I have heard many such cases too. Many girls still feel that if you get pregnant after thirty for the first time, it is far more difficult and painful as compared to when you're not 30 yet

ITV of course encourages early marriages and pregnancies

I don't glorify the idea of having a girl over a boy at all. I just tried to understand what their thought process might be.

For me, both genders are equal, and I would always say that one should be equally happy at having a girl child or a boy child. Glorifying a girl child over a boy child is as discriminative as the opposite

even the episode itself says “Raavi-Shiva tied the knot”

no reference of Rishita-Dev…

Janardan kidnapped Shiva-Raavi so that Raavi could misunderstand him…

they went to haveli so that they will go to mukhteshwar ka khandar .. get involved in landslide so that misunderstanding get cleared and Shiva started caring for Raavi..not to mention Raavi could notice Shiva’s physical beauty…

also Shiva-Krish scared Rishita so that Shiva-Raavi can come close..

I think everyone got the drift… if not then may be we can list down all the kaands happened so far in the show.. and will see that each has either direct or indirect impact only on Shiva-Raavi’s relationship… its their story

but they have to keep other pairs happy too so faltu k mahanta k kaam unko de dete h… ignore and chill…

Its just that I am speaking about general public

Like u said ki pandyas ka thought process aisa hoga to I m saying ki inka thought process aisa hai to general audience and all sb shannt hai

But agar case alag hota as I mentioned then naari shakti zindabad ke morche nikal rhe hote.

I completely got ur point what u wanted to say

I m speaking in general ki agar reality se bhi instances le to aisa hota hai ki agr koi bol de ki beta hoga or wo video social media pr viral ho jaye to people will bash

But agr koi aisa video out ho jisme someone is saying ki beti hi hogi to everyone will go gaga over them.

Shiva had a dialogue that men also suffer heartbreak, not just women. Gautam's reaction to that was lack lustre and weird.

Dhara nearly accused Gautam of leaving her for another girl just because she got pregnant, and it was turned into a comedy track

Patriarchy is everywhere!

just an observation…

you know we all say that Raavi did the right thing by slapping Shiva since he said wrong thing about her character…

but should I ignore the fact that had it not been for Dhara, Raavi would have slapped shiva after that kidnapping kaand itself…

Shiva carried Raavi all the way to house and once she gains consciousness.. without thinking she raised her hand to slap him only to be held back by Dhara… and that too in front of Suman… Their relationship would have been over then and there … and that time nobody could justify that slap…

Pandya niwas is like the flag bearer of patriarchy...there is no one instance/episode where patriarchy dnt shine or is not glorified in the show..

The men who make such shows are least bothered about the impact this could bring on..or maybe some/many people are benefitted by these mindsets
