Pallavi's nupital chain broke off, scaring her again of course...she has already faced the burden of being a widow. But the events that succeeded after the instance has made me change my perspective.

The nuptial chain is a symbol of her marriage with Raghav, also at the same time; it is a symbol of Raghav's marriage with Pallavi. It denotes "their" marriage.

So the break of the nuptial chain defined the trouble on the "Suhaag"

Raghav's Suhaag is Pallavi. He is facing the fate of loosing 'his wife' 'his suhaag'

He would become the widower of Pallavi if at all he lost her. (Our Pallu will live longer than a Banyan tree)

I'm considering this a cliche break.
