You answered your question yourself. He won't listen to her.

Her lessons on morality have been influenced by Ayi and we know what she turned out to be, so no surprises. If her mahaan Ayi couldn't change Sanki in all those years, what could Pallavi do?

Raghav is a soft target who indulges all this so she can go on a rampage with him if she wants.

You're not in the minority. It feels forced to me, as if they are adding it just for the sake of it and to complicate Raghav and Farhad's lives later on. Raghav just can't escape D-fam.
