Aditya lies versus Malini's lies

I don't want to talk about Imlie here. Leave aside Imlie and let's focus on Aditya and Malini because they are accountable only to each other as friends, as once lovers and ex-spouses for all the lies they have spoken to each other. Aditya lied to Malini and married her. He supposedly cheated on her. But he did confess his lies and has been apologizing and repenting for it for a long time now. His lies have no justification but he spoke the truth, be it late! Malini, on the other hand, has been lying and plotting her evil plans without any sign of guilt or shame. It doesn't look like there is going to be any change of heart anytime soon. She is degrading day by day. This is the difference between Aditya and Malini. Aditya has accepted his lies and is remorsing. Malini is taking pride for being the most disgusting human on planet earth. When people say Aditya deserves this because he lied to Malini first, I want to tell them that Aditya surely deserves Malini's hate and anger but Aditya also deserves the truth from Malini because he spoke the truth to Malini too. Of all the people, Aditya confessed the truth to Malini first. Yes, Rupi and Aditya's boss did know the truth before Malini but it was not from Aditya they came to know. Aditya deserves to know the truth from Malini.

Aditya feels sorry for Malini and doesn't want to keep her trapped in a loveless relationship. He wants her to move on and be happy. Malini wants to keep Aditya tied up with her, just because she loves her? Just because he was once committed to her? Is it justified to trapped someone, force them directly or indirectly and to guilt trap them to be with you because you love them, doesn't matter if the other person does or does not? I have a doubt that she must have always manipulated Aditya that is why their relationship lasted for 7 years. Aditya broke her heart and trust and his committment but he can't be forced to stay committed if he doesn't want to even if he was committed once. Nobody has to. It may be right or wrong but if one party wants to end it, it ends. I really can't understand why Malini doesn't realize how much Aditya loves Imlie. Has she any self-respect? Has she any dignity? Has she any brain of herself? I really can't digest her. Would love to slap her.

#Edit: forgot to add this. Another difference between Aditya and Malini is that Aditya wants Malini happy. He cares for her as a friend that's why he was ready to pay for his mistake which happened the other night. He was concerned for her reputation. He felt sorry that he wronged her. Can't Malini see Aditya's stress and helplessness? Actually, she can and she wants to make Aditya so helpless such that he is left with no choice but to choose her. Is that love? How could she possibly be happy when Aditya doesn't choose her willingly? She is not Aditya's friend, leave aside loving him. She is rejoicing over Aditya's pain.

It has long been proven that Adi and Imlie both felt guilt for lying - they were constantly shown feeling bad about lying to Malini and for how she will feel on knowing the truth. But Malini has proven she has no soul and feels justified in lying and plotting to any extent without regard for anyone else's feelings.

And yes, she did manipulate Aditya for 7 years into staying in this relationship. Anyone who thinks this was some mutual grand loving relationship should be able to see clearly by now that she has always been a calculative/manipulative woman who puts on a mask of "innocence" and "bechaargi" to milk sympathy from people and get what she wants from them. She wanted Adi on any terms, that is why she manipulated him for 7 years and convinced a detached guy that he was supposedly in love with her and that they should get married.

Just don't know if the makers have the guts to fully unmask Malini for who she is....she didn't "change" overnight....this was always who she was.....just that her full evilness is only now getting revealed.

Exactly. From the very beginning, she has been crying for every little thing and involves everyone for every inconvenience she faces. Like seriously? And she thinks that Imlie acts bechari. Imlie is not bechari but a fighter. She fought stigma and poverty from her childhood. She has been fighting all this time. In the recent episodes, she fought alone. She din even get her husband's support. Imlie's character is transparent. The characters in the serial can point out her weaknesses but Malini is manipulative that's why she has been able to maintain that angel persona before others. Like seriously? Can someone be that perfect? The reason T's and Aditya thinks she is perfect is because she is manipulative. That's Imlie and Malini. Malini is the weakling who can never fight alone. She did show some strength for some episodes but she couldn't hold it that long coz that wasn't her. She is what she is now.

I wouldn't even call what she showed then "strength". She just made tall claims.....that entire time she was claiming to "fight for Imlie ka haq", she was still constantly making faces seeing Adi-Imlie together, snapping at Imlie many times whenever she felt jealous of her which isn't any strength in my books....so she wasn't able to hold on to that mask even when she was trying to act mahaan in front of everyone.....any person with a little basic perception ability can see through her cuz she is very obvious in her immaturity and petty bitterness....it keeps slipping out either through taunts or her attention seeking impulses like going around broadcasting the fact that Imlie is her dad's illegitimate child.

But the characters in this story are all deliberately kept moronic and blind to Malini's many obvious manipulations.....Imlie may be fighting to reveal M's truth today but she has been just as ever-ready as the rest of them to make excuses for M's misbehavior for a LONG time....and she will likely do it again in the future. They all seem to have a compulsive need to think the "innocent face" that M projects in every scene while trying to cry as a bechari victim is real even when they are shown what evil lurks behind that face....but they all always seem to want to look for excuses that she is actually a good person no matter how much she tries to actively destroy them and continues to treat them like objects to manipulate.

Yes. They will somehow be like Malini, what is this? How could you do this? But then again, forget it and sympathize or even be intimidated by Malini. Aditya is also the same around Malini. Gosh how Malini has got everyone around her to obey her. Whereas, they say anything to Imlie. That's why I don't like Imlie sometimes. She allows people to treat her like a doormate. Aditya must show more respect towards Imlie than Malini, in the upcoming episodes, I want to see that happening.
