Whatever happens except one instance, Fateh never manages to disappoint me. He always sticks true to one characteristic that I had just predicted in the starting Episodes and he keeps on justifying it.
A simple idea - Fateh is a vindictive soul.
F and J plan to leave for Canada. He could have seriously avoided all this Tejo ko ghar se nikalo abhiyan.
He knows he won't stay...but still won't let Tejo stay. All the while we keep thinking that he will compare Jasso and Tejo and see Tejo's goodness. But yaha na kuch aur chal raha hain. He is not comparing the sisters. Rather he is comparing Himself to Tejo and coming up lacking.
It's an interesting situation here.
Fateh has always been someone to confront and get even. With Tejo he had always been in a sense of competition when he first met her. His friendship with her had lessened his need to compete but had not curved it completely. As they bonded after marriage, he had altered himself to suit her (like the chameleon he is) and had earned the approval from his father that he had always sought for. Tejo and he had become a unit.
Now he has lost both. He is fighting as an individual now and Tejo is once again back to being his competitor. From merit to family's affection, Tejo is ahead of him. His own blood family has chosen her above him. His delusion about BuTejo was also a way to pull her down to his level, make her as dirty as he is so that he can keep up that competition to simply justify his filthy actions.
Unfortunately for him, every action is backfiring. He is being made to feel the second to Tejo who is not even his family's blood.... Frankly an outsider who has usurped his rights. Everyone goes to Tejo, everyone prefers Tejo, everyone listens to Tejo.....most importantly Everyone seems to need Tejo.
No one needs Fateh anymore.....not even Gurpreet. She wants him to stay but Fateh realizes very well that she doesn't need him either.
This is a reflection of Jasmine's issues. Because she too felt slighted as her family never needed her. They always needed Tejo and that's why Jasso went obsessive to get the one person who she felt needed her - Fateh.
Fateh is in the same situation. With no one needing him, he is latching on to the one person who claims to need him - Jasso. Which is why he is overlooking all of her actions and behaviours because after all she needs him. Apart from her need, he is worthless.
This now goes parallel to Jasso's vindictive actions against Tejo. The way she is acting is to sooth the imagined slight to herself. Similarly Fateh is getting vindictive in the same path. He wants to hurt Tejo in a corner of his heart and wants to snatch what she has. He cannot say anything to her....no can he abuse her like Jasso does. So he uses the only path left.... emotional manipulation to get his goal.
In a way he is filthy jealous and envious of Tejo.
Dunno what the makers have planned but they have definitely managed to make a parallel of Jasso and Fateh.
Because this FSV is a reflection of Jasso's darkness and is black in his heart.
