Nice analysis, Shristhi. I can understand your perspective and it is very well written and explained. I am not sure I agree with the 'blunders' section. This is probably the only part of the entire track, where I find myself coming out in favour of Virat. The only reason I have come to this view is that Virat, at least on some occasions, has been direct enough to Sai that she is the one affecting him and this is about them, but Sai has refused to accept this even where it has registered. For example, during the night fight when Virat told her that her presence mattered to him and that is why he wants to leave, she steadfastly told him that she cannot accept that and Virat wants to leave because of PK. Now, I accept that Virat is, in part, to blame for Sai's perspective on this (through his jalebi spinning over the year), but at the same time she is refusing to clarify the story and truth as she believes it to be even where he has been direct. Similar things happened when he told her he liked her on her birthday and when he told her he wanted their marriage to be a real one in the hospital. I did not like Virat's actions in that episode, the manhandling etc, but it was one of the only times in this entire track that I saw him move beyond his anger and actually understood his frustration, including that she would bring up PK when he was directly telling her this is about them.
In general though and overall, Virat has turned into a character that I do not recognised and do not like in this track. I have no confidence in his redemption because of the history of how matters have been dealt with in the show, but as a matter of story telling if it was handled correctly, then his redemption arc could be handled beautiful if there is a realisation of his mistakes and an attempt to take actions that given Sai that safety and protection and never has to worry about it again. A great story can always be told from someone who hits rockbottom and has to climb up again (think Jamie Lannister in GOT, other than the ending where they ruined his arc). I just do not have confidence in the writing that the matters and issues that need to be addressed will actually be addressed, but also because they probably need to let some of those issues remain for future misunderstandings and doubts between Sai and Virat.
So true. Agree to every point.its not one sided. Both r equally hurt and they r right in their own world. So they shid separate. That's the best thing to do now!
