Shiva's desire that Raavi should like him and choose him for himself is a definitely a major part of his divorce decision. Isliye his dialogues ke Raavi chod kar chali gayi and his hurt about how quickly she signed the divorce papers.

But I'm not sure if egotistic is the right word. He's never had this thought ke how dare she do that...or how dare she not like me. Its more that why am I not good enough. Toh isme I do see it as insecurity.

Ravi didn't sign it quickly..she was hesitating and shiva knew she was hesitating..hence he shouted more loudly to push her to the extreme which in turn led to her signing it off..that was one of the most beautifully played out scene in ps after the wedding one..it was so impactful and showed the depth of feelings in both of them..

But the problem is, the same night he told dhara she wouldn't have signed if she liked him. That was a total u turn to his stand in the morning..when he was pushing her to sign the paper,I really felt he was purposefully pushing her becz unless he insults her and push her out of the limit , he knew she will stick on to their marrg..

But when he said that to dhara, if he was expecting her to have a choice abt if she liked him or not.. why did he push her..😕..I used to think he was so convinced by her friends ,mami and ravis diary that he believed she will never have feelings for him..then why did he say she wouldn't have signed if she liked him after bullying her to sign it..😕..his thoughts and feelings regarding their separation has been very confusing with their portrayal..just like ravis thoughts and feelings regarding shiva..Choubeys doing..🤪

I shouldn't be emo but I kinda sorta have teared up a bit during the ShiVi scene..both gazing at the moon, thinking the other one might be happy and how they din want the night to end..Phir le Aaya Dil merged beautifully with the scene..it was just them in the moment having no wish to see the dreadful future!

@bold- yes, I remember. I was talking from his perspective based on his conversation with Dhara that you've also described.

The way I understand it, it started off that he wanted her to have a life partner that she could like. But now it's morphed into his own needs to be the one that she likes and chooses to be with. So her signing the papers is rejection to him.

Remember the main thak guyi scene the night she returned??? He was so hopeful that maybe she returned for him. So at this point, I think it's his desire to be chosen and liked for himself that is driving his actions.

As for Raavi, I think it's the same. She thinks that he doesn't want her and so she doesn't want to fight it. It doesn't help that this keeps getting reinforced. Aaj bhi, she only hears the part ki usne Shiva ki life ki pareshani hai. That's why all the khush hai na tu dialogues.

Somebody said this the other day, the track is "I'm leaving you for your own good" from both the sides. Isliye, they'll come back together when it's from both sides too.

Actually I have the same point.. Shiva sent her divorce papers not Raavi..I guess Suman is still angry about the slap..also she should acknowledge what Raavi is doing for Her heir.. but she's busy planning her son's second marriage even before he gets the divorce🤪

Totally agree to this...yes..after ravi returning back he clearly was hopeful that maybe she chose him the way he is..him looking on the clothes in the shop also showed he was considering abt being like the kind ravi would admire..earlier he had assumed right away that she would never like him..and was defensive abt himself..but now he wants her to like him...he is no more defensive...though has accepted fate too..

Really I can't wait for them to clear things out..it is crossing its stretchers limit now..

This is such a beautiful scene; the nature of it; the ambience; the song; everything fit in and moulded perfectly. Very little was said, but the pain was apparent on both their faces. Neither wanted the night to end because they understood what tomorrow held for them. And the thought of it was terrifying. Tomorrow would bring chaos; tomorrow would bring even more sorrow; tomorrow would bring further loneliness, in the sense that they would stop being a part of each other's lives. Is it possible for them, however? Can they just stop existing for one another? No. Their lives have been set up in a way where their worlds orbited around one another. In one way or another, they always ended up meeting; bumping into each other; bickering; teasing; fighting. It's as if there was a magnetic force around them, pulling them towards one another and it won't stop here. The force will keep working until they both realize what they want and act upon it.

Loved this scene so much - the song selection made it all the more serene and aesthetic.❤️
