The little brain cells of the TRP audience should understand that if these things were to ever happen in their lives, they won’t be even able to get up from their bed, the next day. No wonder good content and those that are close to reality are moving to OTT.

Also I grew up in the same country as you all but the current shows can’t even hold a candle to the shows I grew up watching and back then audience were more progressive and welcomed every single one of them with open arms.

It is definitely a sad state of affairs with respect to ITV shows and audience😕

Things will change only if shows showing toxicity and ott drama fail to get ratings, but sadly the opposite happens.

Some fans of another Sitara show were dissapointed with the ongoing drama in their show and trended,tagged the makers and voiced their dissaponment.

The maker of the show replied pretty rudely to one of the fans.

It doesn't matter what you want, stop wasting your time on trends and do not tag me in any of your comments.no one cares.only ratings matter.its not about creativity or content. If a bad show gets good ratings, means it's a good show.

Sadly this is what most of the makers would be thinking.noone wants to create a beautiful and meaningful show nowadays, it's just a race to get to the top.

The girl who is taking care of the family and doing everything is treated horribly and called kaanch in front of Shiva the heera but people always reasons to defend Shiva for his nonsense and keeping mum whenever Raavi gets insulted by his family and Raavi becomes wrong when she didn't defended Shiva once (which she should have done) & the slap she gave after he character assinated her or I missed more wrong done by Raavi.

Neither Shiva or Raavi react to anything that the family says. That's why they've both stayed firm on their divorce decision despite all the emotional manipulation.

Sirf ek dusre ki baatein affect them enough to get a reaction. Even in the night time scene, Raavi ne sirf ek line kahi and Shiva was all aag. Same with Raavi. Ek word nahi kaha to Suman the other day either. Imo, Raavi won't say anything unti Shiva says that he wants to get married too.

So let the family do their drama. I ignore it.

Actually the TRP meters where they are installed are at those places were not much progressive thoughts is there.

There still domestic violence happens, regressive thoughts, women don't have right to give their options, they get cheated and can't divorce due to not being educated to survive and know their rights.

That's why regressive stuffs gets the highest trp. Women connect to it. They get happy when divorce happens as they can never do for their obvious reasons, they like when fl answers back as she herself never did.

That's why Anupamaa is topping the charts and Sai is everyone's favourite.

Also that is why Raavi going against Pandyas and standing for herself got them huge trps.

What Raavi said to Dhara is true to some extent

.Shiva not taking any stand for Raavi is making him look like weak person... i keep saying this again again that he needs to learn how to take stand for his wife.. his mother keeps insulting his wife and he just keeps his mouth shut

This all happened due to the advent of cable television. DD was only about content. We had great producers/directors making shows for them back in the day Ramesh Sippy, Basu Chatterjee, Aziz Mirza, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Shyam Benegal and many such stalwarts.

Now I don’t even know the director of this show😕 and only know the producers and unfortunately the writers😕

If the makers cannot take constructive criticism they are the ones who will be losing soon when the ratings dip and the show goes off air. The fans/audience will move on. How long can they keep stretching and repeating the same storyline, at some point they will get beaten😕 What goes around comes around.
