Correct. The woman was sounding as if Patralekha was wronged in the whole scenario. But then when has SBS ever been neutral.

Honestly the voiceover person must be a Virakhi fan that's the only logical explanation for their bullshit. Aai letting her DIL do the aarti is wrong according to them as Pakhi should've been allowed to do it. Then their usual Sai never listens to anyone. They must be salty that Sai is not like the typical ITV bahus who sit at home worshipping their patis after being continuously abused. She's going away cuz she's done with it. If you can't appreciate it at least don't taunt that move, what kind of message are you giving to your viewers? That every bhabi should be openly shameless like Pakhi and every pati should be like Virat who can't handle rejection? Sai moving away is a step towards progress it's not stubbornness. Why should she stay in a toxic relationship where she's valued only when she obeys to her husband's and in laws' rules.

Main reason I didn't like whatever lollipop Sairat scene they showed today. Virat has been giving Sai such disgusting side eye looks (same kind he gives to Pakhi when she crosses her limit and he's on maun vrat mode) and has been acting like such a grumpy dumpty cuz Sai refused to bend for his rules. But as soon as she wears a nice sari and attends the function and does all that is expected out of an ideal patni, he gives her loving glances! Is that called love? What ever happened to in good times and bad?

So they replaced Usha (a hopeless character here btw unlike the original) with Devyani in this night scene when she packs her bags to leave. There's another episode next morning Sai/Imon reaches her college, applied for city transfer & was about to discontinue her studies, in that episode Usha tries convincing Ronno to stop Imon but he doesn't budge in and Rupkotha comes walking all over Bhanu, badmouting Imon throughout. I felt like punching on Ronno's face specially the next episode (continuation of that scene) Ronno gives Bhanu an earful that how dare she talk like that with their daughter-in-law when Rupkotha complains that now Imon's maid servant got the right to disrespect her. Then at the night Rupkotha comes to invite Ronno to go with (their friendliness in that conversation was so 😵) alongwith her, Badhshah & family in a trip, meantime Imon comes back from college only to spot bffs in her room then again another round of teaming up happens against Imon which continued at the starting of next episode & when they left Imon finally broke down into tears like anything. I couldn't see her like that. Madhumita literally embodied Imon. It was so heart-wrenching. Dunno how the scene will play out in Ghum 😭

They've made all the characters so powerless in this version even Sai for that matter whoever is in team Sai & roasts the Devar Bhabhi duo in every sequence. The accident track of Imon was brilliant. They failed to execute the build up by not having Usha in this track who played a major role in the upcoming track in KD, she witnessed everything how they put Imon through torture the whole family especially BFFs. Devyani can't do justice to roast them. The impact won't be same. Bhanu was in rage, if she wanted she could have killed Rupkotha right there on spot in the hospital, the way she blasted Ronno & Imon's friends too. It was amazing! And obviously Ananoyo & Badshah were the showstealers they ripped Ronno apart. Ronno looked like a fool in the hospital infront of Anonyo. But unfortunately Pulkit is turned useless here! Idk if cvs have done this deliberately so none roasts bffs like it happens in the original so they get scot-free, don't get slammed publicly. Same thing happened in the last track too during Sai's accident. In KD all the emotions felt so raw & real. Even Adish isn't present ig. If they can have replacement of Mansi Bua (her character is completely butchered too in Ghum) then why they couldn't take new actress for Usha's role cus they didn't want her to bajao ViRakhi? Just to accommodate the insults they would've gotten if they executed how it should've been. Mohit was also on fire in KD but his character is useless here despite being a sweetheart. Then they removed two rational characters from KD & put them into Shivani who's useless as well. This show is anything but a remake of KD. Ghum is so OTT melodrama, KD was resisting & non dramatic. They leave out on the best parts of the show & don't copy/paste them or the dialogues. Those two characters Koli Di & Pishi Moni in KD roasted the Trimurti in KD. The intensity of roasting will be at minuscule in Ghum fosho.

Also, I don't understand one thing when I keep reading stuffs like how Imon always involved others & washed dirty linen in public, made it embarassing, makes public privy to family matters. I mean aise ghatiya family ke izaat ke baremein woh soche kyon? Like koi sense hai is baat ka? If the family itself is so shitty & indulges in immorality all the time why would she keep skeleton in the closet? Also, it's not washing dirty laundry in public at all. Those criminals deseve every bit of the embarrassment & should get exposed publicly.
