He had once accused her of pushing him away when things got uncomfortable and pulling him when the situations are favorable. For her. She will be justifying those accusations if she has truly acted on her feelings (the lou-waale feelings, that is). It would mean she has taken Nishit for granted. Kirti is impulsive, so maybe she did decide to be direct about her feelings. But something tells me, she pulled that stunt to prove a point to the dun...dun...dun...dunce.

If Kirti's longing for Nishit was so heart felt in "Meera", her hoping that she meets him at the dinner, made me hope and wish too that Nishit is around and that she can meet him.

Finally when she did meet him, I got to see a new avatar of Kirti and loved it. Has her success in her career path given her such confidence or having acknowledged that Nishit is whom she loves and wants made her take things under her control or both the factors made her act on the given situation, I am not sure. But loving this new Kirti and her "Go getter" attitude.

Is Nishit ready for this new Kirti? Is he ready to finally welcome Kirti into his life? Let's see.

Kirti's standing in the society may have changed a bit, she may no longer be tied by marriage and Nishit may not have a fiancé anymore, but the status quo between her & Nishit is still the same. He is still unattainable to her. His mother probably still looks at her as a gold digger. Long story short, they still belong to different strata of the society. Then why would Kirti insinuate something which may never lead to anything? Kirti is impulsive, no doubts about that. And the stunt she pulled towards the end was based on pure impulse, I am sure. But I am still on fence about the trigger. IMO, if Kirti wants to straighten out things with Nishit, she should start with an apology first. Menaka-giri can wait for another day

Kirti's life has taken a turn and now things are falling into place. She is free from a marriage that was not (tick). Passed her exams (tick) and has landed a good job(tick), has her own place(tick). She wants Nishit now and she is going after him all guns blazing. Who cares how she goes about winning Nishit. Everything is fair in Love and War. She cannot sit coyly and wait for Nishit to make a move because he may not as in the past Nishit has been hurt by Kirti many times.
