I honestly was trying to remember when did I last find her pretty...I guess the lemon saree she wore for Dahi Handi...But that too in the pics she posted not in the show yaar...She looks really good in the pics she posts...and in the show a bit different...Pata nhi kyu?

They really need to stop with unnecessary criticism .....it is a ritual, and we can imagine that since Chawans are a traditional, ritualistic family, they will follow these rituals. Anyway, all desi serials twist these rituals according to their matlab.

I had genuine issues with fasting for husbands, but my friends now have their husbands fasting for them, so it has becomes a romantic ritual for both husband and wife to fast for each other's health!!

Yeah most of the husbands fast for their wives...See in the old times...men would step out of the house for days to get money , to run the household, would also return dead.. The whole ritual of fasting started because women wanted to pray for theri well being...When you dont eat food, you actually are probably the purest form and you pray to the lord for the well being..So mostly the concept lied there...Now the westerners are writing books on benefits of fasting..even water fasting..

There is nothing wrong in this..it's just a ritual...though I am not an ardent ritual follower but I too follow some...these stans really need to stay in limit

The touching of husband's feet might be merely ritualistic in a lot of households....but the origin of the ritual itself is pretty misogynistic and this regressive attitude is very much alive in most households in India. I do cringe when I see such scenes on TV.

But what has it got to do with Ayesha and Neil? They are just actors enacting a scene.

P.S I'm not opposed to people following these rituals.

True.. in DD someone mentioned that it was customary.. n it was done to the bearer of Ganapathi.

Though Ghum does it a bit too much still…

if Ashwini hadn’t interfered it would have been Didi doing it.. will they be ok then.. wish they stop making mountains out of mole hills.
