If directors does that then why they don't give few more expressions to Keerthi like atleast getting confused of her husband's behaviour rather than showing the wow expression to her husband everytime when he does the kaand...

right now the issue isn’t about the illegal business, it’s about how he values money so much that it’s blinding him

It's not just him valuing money, it's him feeling like his judgement, hard work, and entrepreneurship that got him here is being attacked. He keeps talking about this all the time. He resents the fact that people think he's rich and successful just because he takes the illegal route but the fact is that he does a lot of pretty creative things that get him the results he's looking for.

He's a proponent of work smart, not hard and he himself said that not all parts of his business are illegal. This means he can easily isolate different parts and work on cleaning it up in a way that gives him less profit but still keeps him rich. In fact, with this tender without realizing he actually ended up going for less profit just to prove a point. So if he can do it for illegal things, for sure he can find an alternative legal method.
