Even dhara asked gaumbi to buy shiva a secondhand bike but he refused of course he was mad at Shiva for burning it lol now when raavi asked he talked about saving money for future expenses related to dhara and her pregnancy which is logical but with all the work the shop requires they def need to look at a mode of transportation soon we can't have Dev fainting lifting grocery bags on the street lol

The ravi dhara scene in the bedroom where she brings her the kheer and her clothes and dhara is all happy rishita did look not so happy about it and even today she didn't like their little happy moment maybe she is also feeling left out by the sister bonding between dhara and raavi lol already she is upset about the job then the money and now the BFF Yaya sisterhood going on between dhara and raavi lol

Even if they bring a new character for 3rd angle.. dikhaana tho bhabhimaa ko hee hein..they r never going to compromise with dharas screen space for anyone..😆..and no one else has screen space.. so where would they inject the new character...without having to compromise on bhabhi ma. .only as bangle waala..auto wala..shopkeeper waala..

Anyway my 2 cents on Rishita-Dhara confrontation.

I do not mind Dhara bargaining but I fully support Rishita here. So if Dhara feels the kangans are not worth more than 200 rupees then Rishita should not buy it? You can bargain upto a certain amount but will Dhara do the same thing when she goes to big shops. We all buy the price that is marked on the things we want to buy but won'r hesitate to bargain with people who earn meager profit😕

That aside, why didn't Dhara buy anything for Rishita and bought only for herself and Raavi. She didn't even have the courtesy to ask her if she wanted anything. So in a joint family is it perfectly fine to buy for one person and conveniently leave the other one assuming that the other person won't like it or will not be interested. That was Dhara's first mistake. Secondly Dhara has no business telling Rishita what to buy and where to buy just because she controls the money. And why should she control the money for the entire family when there are grown ass adults working the same amount as her husband. Shouldn't they all be paid for their work?

Rishita has grown up in a family where she doesn't have to keep asking for money all the time from her parents, I am sure she is given enough monthly allowance and why is there no set up like that in Pandya parivar.
What would Dhara do if she was in Rishita's position, keep quiet?😕

So Rishita will not get money for things she wants to buy, neither her husband has any money of his own, keeps rejecting all the job offers he gets and she cannot go to work either. She cannot ask her parents for money either because Pandya parivar's self respect will be questioned? What will she do? So how this is even fair?

It's time for Gautam and Dhara to pay the brothers individually for the work they put in the store and they can inturn give it to their wives for expenses or choose to do other things. If none of this will work. Dev should not stop Rishita from going to work at all. He has no business doing that because if he cannot provide. let her take care of herself.

As for Dhamaks buying jhumkas for Raavi without asking, I don't want to make it a big deal because we all know about DhaVi bonding now, they are ready to do anything for each other and Raavi's and Dhara's taste match so it shouldn't be a problem. Let's take this Raavi's gift from Dhara for making Chuare Kheer even before Dhara requested Raavi to make it😆 Dhara only told Rishita to get it as she feels like eating chuare kheer and Raavi happened to walk in and proved her Raavi Shri powers😆

P.S: On a funny note, if at all Gautam pays the brothers a monthly salary I bet Shiva will earn more than Dev for the amount of work he puts in. Rishita still has to go to work for her own financial independence.

you are so on point that I can’t even contradict…

I just don’t understand the use of Dev’s education if at the end of the day he wants to survive on meagre income of the PS (in the show normally huge stores are not that poor) he could have ditched studies after graduation. what’s the need to do MBA? if you grew up in a business family, you may know more than course books.. 🤷🏽‍♀️

ideally he should take up a job to provide the family with a stable source of income which can be utilized in expansion of Pandya stores and establishing a strong financial position…

but us gadhede me itni akal kaha?

I dnt understand..I am frm a nuclear family.. how does a joint family handle finances..like if they divide the income among everyone, grocery and requirements for home, how will they use the money?..like everyone contributing a certain portion of their money.. or they r keeping aside a portion of the whole earnings separate for house expense and the rest is divided?..and what abt the profit and the money they have to save for future expansion of the store. ?

Actually what PS is showing is the reality.

Many a times in villages and small cities, the finances are in the hands of the eldest son, especially in the families who have small scale business and shops.

I think the core issue with Dhara and Rishita is that Dhara fundamentally doesn’t understand the type of person Rishita is. Rishita was still bummed about not being able to pursue her goal of financial independence and that bangle was symbolic of whether she had that freedom without a job. When Dhara “didn’t let” Rishita get the bangle she liked, it just reaffirmed her insecurities and worries re her place in the family and her lack of say in any financial matters.

I would think if Dhara understood Rishita then she would have just let her get the bangle and taken the so called financial loss. I think this was subtly highlighted with the whole washroom issue with Suman as well.

Dhara and Raavi get on because they have a long history and also, Raavi isn’t super materialistic and is more passive with Dhara and Gaumbi. Rishita who grew up rich, and is used to getting what she wants, and just in general has a different perspective on life is a different story. In her own flawed way Rishita is trying to adjust but I think Dhara could have let this one go and used it as a platform to bond with Rishita

She's probably talking about the shows which had MLs from financially weak background. Don't know about ITV but I've seen such things in regional shows. They have palace-like home with well-decorated rooms having all the showy furniture, wear expensive dresses, heavy jewellery, individual bikes/scooters( I think even PS showed 4 bikes for 4 brothers during the kidnapping track. Now I think those were probably taken on rent)and are ready to spend money on all sorts of functions but when it comes to important issues, they are short of money.
