Kangana is now Shenbaga
Hot Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut will be making her debut in Tamil as Shenbaga in the Jayam Ravi starrer Dham Dhoom. The ultra modern Mumbai girl will be playing the role of a village girl with typical Paavadai - Thavani costume in this film.
Explaining her role, she says, "It was wonderful and I'm thankful to Jeeva for introducing me to Tamil Cinema. For me, Tamil film industry is the important and as equal to Bollywood. I'm playing Shenbaga, a typical village girl in this film. After getting to know what it means, I have decided to change my name to Shenbaga. Now I ask the Tamil film world to refer to me as Shenbaga."
Speaking about her experience with Jayam Ravi, she said,"Ravi is truly a
gentleman and inspirational for others. Recently I watched his film Santosh Subramaniyam and am thrilled with his excellent acting. I hope this film would do well at the box office like Santosh Subramaniyam."
She further said, "I'm waiting for more projects in Tamil. Here the people are so professional and have true passion towards their profession. They always stick to timings and come on time and allow you to leave on time. This is so different from Mumbai filmdom. I really love working in Kollywood. Here I feel so comfortable than anywhere."
According to the actress at present in in talks going for a new film in Tamil but she would sign the dotted line only after the release of Dham Dhoom.
