Deeps, one thing I would like point out that if somebody is changing for love, the outcome should be good and definitely not at the expense of his/her self worth or confidence. How many times since the Sneha Kaand Shiva has looked at his clothes every time Raavi was with her friends? many times. Even he gets FBs of Sneha insulting him, the first thing that comes to his mind is the clothes. Given a choice he would not change it at all but the writers are making him think that he is ready to change for Raavi. He is having to do all this by losing his self worth and of course confidence. But in return he might not even get Raavi back, so what does this do to his confidence and self worth, its going to further hit rock bottom, The makers are destroying the foundation of Shiva’s character by slowly peeling away his confidence and self worth at different stages. His brothers don’t respect him, neither do his sister-in-laws. His mother is the only one who showers love on him, she too is unable to talk to him and that’s about it. How would you feel if you were in Shiva’s shoes now? You will feel less confident and doubt your self worth.
