A back to form episode after a looooong timeđ.......I guess showing nearly 14 minutes of uninterrupted Adi-Imlie scenes deffo helped with thatđ.
Today was a day of sorting out some messes after many days....and drawing that distinction that Adi-Imlie always have a way of finding a link to each other no matter what the setbacks, what the hopelessness, what the dejection. And if they can do it, surely we can too despite how much the show tortures us off lateđ
Adi was essentially a GIANT BABY for much of the scenes with Imlieđ.....I was so damn irritated with this man yesterday but watching him be such a big baby and Imlie firmly pulling him out of his self-pity/depression mode was a sight to behold for the EASE with which GM-ST enacted it....so natural, so well done in flowđ. Imlie kicked things off by singing her famous "Powerful Imaliya" songđ¤Ł....and then telling him to get up and get ready for office.....lol....he was in the mood to pout and mope but Imlie didn't let him do it one bit.....reminded him ki agar naukri gayi hai toh phir yahaan baithe mat raho, jaao waapis lekar aaođ. THIS right here is distinction number one from the leechad he was with for 7 years....the woman who would do coy talks of support but not actually do anything......while Imlie is straight up telling him to get up and take charge of his life.....no moping around. Then when he said he isn't so besharam to go beg for his job back, Imlie simply reminded him that she finds him NIRDOSH.....and the pause in that moment was just beautiful....such a simple thing said with such weightđ. He was wanting to wallow in self-loathing and she just told him so simply that he is innocent in her eyes....so what is there to loathe? And when after a lot of cajoling, he agreed to try and go to office, he also simultaneously insisted on dropping her to collegeđ.....when Imlie tried to wiggle out of if cuz she didn't want him to know about her suspension, he literally threw a big baby tantrum again ki tum meri ek bhi baat nahin maantiđ¤Ł.....I kid you not, this guy literally did total emotional blackmail just like the fainting episodeđ.....and Imlie haar ke maan gayi finally......ROFL matlab kya ghonchus hain dono....ek dusre ki liye kisi bhi hadh tak ki zidd tak jaayenge.
Then we got the second half at college.....LOL@ Imlie trying to say bye to him so that he leaves but he kept lingering wanting to see her enter the college firstđ....finally Imlie ki chori pakdi gayi when he learns she has been suspended.....and phir aaya guilt ka bhaar.....he was reminded of how he kept going on and on telling her she doesn't know how it feels jab sapna toot jaata hai and here she lost everything. Imlie smiled and reminded him that even after losing everything, she feels she still has the truth with her and the faith that once the truth is out, all of this will come back to her. Adi still remained overwhelmed with guilt.....and no longer even wanted to go to officeđ....he was like chalo sab chhod chhaad ke tum aur main saath rehte hain aur abse main bas tumhein padhaaunga ghar pe, kaam bhi nahin karnađ¤Ł....this guy *shakes head*đ.....kaise rahun main isse gussa. Matlab Imlie ka sapna toota toh he literally didn't find anything else worth doing in his own life also and wanted to sit at home to only focus on her.....phir baat toh wohi hai ki pyar itna gehra hai ki ek dusre ke aage nahin dikhta kuch when it really comes down to it.
Imlie again had to lift him out of his dejection mode ki nope, you're going to office....chalo main hi le jaati hoon....lol and she climbed onto his bike like she'll drive him directly.....after which they got to banter a bit over whether he feels sharam in sitting behind a girl on the bikeđ....finally Sajna ho chalaa ke dilvaa di inko bike ride to Adi's office.....lol and then came Imlie's most important words....if you consider yourself a doshi/culprit, others will too....so you have to remind yourself that you are innocent until proven guilty by the court. After which, Adi went and repeated Imlie ka yeh innocent until proven guilty gyaan to his Editor Saab and calmly made a case for why he should have his job back.....lol hence proven once again ki Adi ki HIMMAT hai Imlie....she literally pulled him out of the darkness yet againđ
The rest also moved towards a sense of positive development today.....Imlie vowing to first reveal Malini's truth to Adi so that he can remove this patti from his eyes.....then her motivating KC again to fight the case.
On the Loservedi side, Dev has done the useless kaam of announcing Imlie as his daughter in the newspaper....random kaam hi karva lo is loser seđ¤. But we have a hint today of Malini planning the fake pregnancy....she told Dev that she is going to put a condition in front of Imlie that she won't be able to back down from....
Precap has Imlie finally discovering the camera with the evidence.....still unclear the level of footage in the camera but Imlie did avert her eyes in disgust....so we can speculate how much was captured there. That said, the level of calculation in Malini planning a fake pregnancy still makes it seem like it will be revealed in due time that nothing happened that night.
