Businessman was def OTT for dramas sake. My family back home has a bunch of staff and the women (Bc they live more traditionally) of the home still bring some of the food for the guests, and they are the ones who ask about chai or coffee etc. So why the guy would just automatically assume she’s staff lol. Just for the plot.

Yes too much OTT because I loved how she welcomed the guests and asked for refreshments. She was so warm and classy.

Second of all, only Raghav Rao will wear tuxedo at home. Ask people who work in various firms about the irritation they get on wearing a tuxedo. Din, Raat, subah sirf ussi mein ghumta hai woh. I won't call out on his dressing but where is the necessity to be clothed in formals when your roam around at home? When you eat and drink (daaru of course)? Many of them don't wear formals much, they choose casuals and they will choose casuals anytime over a tuxedo chahe Woh Otto ka brand ho ya Raymond Ka.

Pallavi accepted his drinking, non veg, impulsive, anger and everything but not his way of doing business.. don may look fantasy on screen but not on real life. She is asking him to do business on legal way and also refrain from doing illegal business. Any wife would want the same, no one Wants their husband to land on jail or die on any cold blood encounter.. no one wants to hear the taunts of society about her husband.
