About his pride

Even in bhang episode of imlie he scolds her by saying about I may have not earned much money but name …

Even he was not ready to accept his defeat in hands of villagers & decided to hide ( even tried multiple times to tell truth only to avoid questions about his character) marriage with imlie in order to save his name [ purely my opinion]

He changed only when he realised imlie was his biggest truth… but after that Janmashtami incident others started mocking & he himself got biggest shock…
