However, I will say I don't think in any other situation Raghav would really care what Pallavi wore - it was that Pallavi was insulted because of what she chose to wear, Raghav was insulted, etc. that made Raghav react that harshly. The situation embarrassed him and even by his anger with the businessman - you could tell someone degrading Pallavi like that struck a nerve with Raghav. And that's why he wants her to reconsider. It's more so to prevent her from being spoken to like that again vs. wanting her to wear his clothes just because he bought them.

I also think the job has to do with that as well - maybe he doesn't want her to have to face the gossip (promo alluded to that happening). He's worked so hard to make a name for himself, so his family could never be put down like that again (re: remember his dad), and so I understand how this strikes a nerve for him, especially as a man/provider.

What he does need to understand though is that Pallavi is her own person, if she can take the insults, etc., then he needs to leave her be and he cannot control her out of protection (which is a flaw of his as shown by how he handled keerti).

I love Pallavi's approach to their fights - it's out of respect for her relationship and her husband that she is keeping their arguments under wraps.

I do just want them to get to a point where they can have a heart to heart and really appeal to each others emotions. But we probably won't see that for a while.

Pallavi welcomed them as the Owner, malkin of the house. The fact that the clients never recieved such a welcome was because they were welcomed by the staff and not the owner. In this situation, Pallavi isn't wearing old sarees because she wants to wear it, she is wearing them to prove a point to Raghav. The entire situation caught both off guard. Pallavi was shocked too when he called her maid. When he told Raghav that he is treating Pallavi as his servant, it struck him bad. The insults were directed to Raghav and not Pallavi, being a maid is not an insult.

Regarding job too, he is opposing because Pallavi is doing it to prove her point, not because she wants to do it out of passion.

True that... Makers ko Raghav ke alawa kuch dikhta nahi hai. So, its pretty much obvious that we aren't getting a Pallavi centric track with all these things that we want to see.

And if by any wildest chance they try to give a Pallavi centric track then I don't know how many will watch that peacefully without cribbing about "RR being sidelined".

What so ever it is, Raghav saying that he won’t let her work on her own is soooo off.
Whether to prove a point or not, it’s Pallavi’s choice.

And I try to be as fair to Raghav as possible, I am still team Raghvi only- but what Raghav told her indicates that he’s going to deliberately create hurdles in her path. He is failing terribly as a husband here. Letting his ego take over him. He will learn I am sure. But galat toh woh hai. Extremely rude. There are better ways to handle this situation. One of them is not to shout at her and just try to talk.

And oh, it was as much as Pallavi’s insult as Raghav’s. Pallavi is as much an individual as Raghav is.

And i agree being called a maid is not an insult, so how was it Raghav’s insult then? Don’t even try Shri. 😂

Speaking as the admin: I have made it clear on the AT yesterday that this thread should be solely dedicated to Pallavi from now on and I guess this one is a discussion for MF. Please feel free to carry on with this on the EDT or the MF. But I think what Ragahv does or doesn’t do is out of scope of this AT.

This scene 😈

Keerthi doesnt even realize what a fool she makes of herself everytime she opens her mouth.. all this akkad and attitude is gonna blow up on her face when Sunny dumps her.. dont wanna see her face for a second after that.. just make her disappear and we'l assume she is repenting somewhere alone.

Haan - Keerti doesn't even realise that she did wrong by eloping and hurting everyone. She didn't feel bad when Raghav and Amma were blaming Pallavi. She is very self centered person. Point is she never grew from the character sketch of episode 1 when she runs away leaving her brother to fight the goons.

Precaps are misleading so will wait for the episode to discuss it. Calling Pallavi maid was not the insult to either of them, the actual insult blaming Raghav for Pallavi's clothes.

Regarding discussions, I wanted to reply to that post when it was made, but I hadn't watched then. So replied to it now. Anyway will keep that thing in mind from next time

bold: that scene was utterly selfish. It revealed her true nature .Even if they had RR was a hardened criminal leaving your brother in that situation was not at all right

He not only called her maid, he made a very crass comment saying that he wants such beautiful maids at his house too. That’s insulting to any woman. Even if it was a real maid in her place. And that’s the entire reason Raghav pounced on him. Because it WAS insulting to Pallavi. Please try to be fair in your comments.

No comments about Raghav, as I already said- not on this AT.

@bold: thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

Agar koi mujhe kahe ke mere kapde low class hai aur mera insult kare toh mujhse pyaar karne waale mujhe yeh nahi kahenge ke jaao change karo...

Woh yeh kahenge ke duniya jaaye bhaad me tumhe jo pehnna hai woh pehno... Kisi insult ko dil pe na lo...

Pallavi ne "low class" saari isliye nahi pehni kyunki usse kisiki di huyi "high class" saari pasand nahi hai, ussne woh simple saari isliye pehni thi kyonki woh utna hi afford kar sakti hai... Usse problem nahi hai, baat khatam!

Baat soch ki hai!
