I don't appreciate how some people want P to bend her ethics to accept R the way he is, yet don't want R to bend his ways to accept P's ethics. They both are essentially wanting the other to change and so they're both wrong if we go with the whole "don't change your partner - love them for how they are" type of view.
However, I will say I don't think in any other situation Raghav would really care what Pallavi wore - it was that Pallavi was insulted because of what she chose to wear, Raghav was insulted, etc. that made Raghav react that harshly. The situation embarrassed him and even by his anger with the businessman - you could tell someone degrading Pallavi like that struck a nerve with Raghav. And that's why he wants her to reconsider. It's more so to prevent her from being spoken to like that again vs. wanting her to wear his clothes just because he bought them.
I also think the job has to do with that as well - maybe he doesn't want her to have to face the gossip (promo alluded to that happening). He's worked so hard to make a name for himself, so his family could never be put down like that again (re: remember his dad), and so I understand how this strikes a nerve for him, especially as a man/provider.
What he does need to understand though is that Pallavi is her own person, if she can take the insults, etc., then he needs to leave her be and he cannot control her out of protection (which is a flaw of his as shown by how he handled keerti).
I love Pallavi's approach to their fights - it's out of respect for her relationship and her husband that she is keeping their arguments under wraps.
I do just want them to get to a point where they can have a heart to heart and really appeal to each others emotions. But we probably won't see that for a while.

Pallavi welcomed them as the Owner, malkin of the house. The fact that the clients never recieved such a welcome was because they were welcomed by the staff and not the owner. In this situation, Pallavi isn't wearing old sarees because she wants to wear it, she is wearing them to prove a point to Raghav. The entire situation caught both off guard. Pallavi was shocked too when he called her maid. When he told Raghav that he is treating Pallavi as his servant, it struck him bad. The insults were directed to Raghav and not Pallavi, being a maid is not an insult.
Regarding job too, he is opposing because Pallavi is doing it to prove her point, not because she wants to do it out of passion.
