What really angers me, and most of us I feel, is how the writers themselves are jeopardizing the most beautifully cultivated character development of Adi to pursue this horrendous track. He went from being a man with a bruised ego who lashed out at Imlie every chance he got to a man who wholeheartedly confessed his mistakes to Meethi & SK, laying it all out in the open to seek penance. 😔 The trust he has on Imlie has always been unshakable, even back when they were at odds with each other, making it so much harder for us to swallow what they’re portraying now — all reasoning behind it aside.

However, it is because of Adi’s character progression so far that, no matter what, I can’t bring myself to keep zero hopes from Adi. 😳 This dumbing down of his character hurts us more right now because of the positive arc he has taken since the beginning. It’s a sudden dip in a steadily rising curve that took us by surprise. 😒 It is a setback, sure, but it hopefully isn’t permanent. 😊 I will root for him as long as the makers don’t drag him down beyond the point of no return. To me, that moment will be when he isn’t the same Adi he was before at all. Hope to never find out what that point actually is… 😕

If he’s consistently owned and tried to rectify his mistakes so far, he will continue doing that just as sincerely moving ahead. That’s the Adi Imlie loves, isn’t it? Even with one brain cell active, he has the same heart. 🤣 That’s what I’m banking on. 🤣

About lack of trust but it’s about the guilt he is feeling as a victim who is blaming blaming himself that his weakness led to betrayal of his wife and hurt his bf and family and brought them to shame.

He is not pulling the plug on the court case and not stopping imlie from Looking for evidence ( just saying that her method is not not right) . I think they have not butchered his character IMO which is just evolving based on the situation. We just maybe annoyed cos want him to just keep quiet and jump on Didi straight away. This would not be realistic for me.

Well, I think today he wants to pull the plug on the case and he lashed out at her.

But you know what, today I found an Adi who felt worthless and guilty that others in the family are suffering indirectly because his deeds and him, by way of the court case. So, him lashing out at Imlie was a reflection of him lashing out at himself. In all these days, I’ve hated the guy so much, but somehow today the emotion came out different.

Yes, he still said “you are fine in all this Imlie, nothing happened to you”, while it was shown as a taunt, it can be perceived as at least you are safe and nothing else went wrong with you outside. Maybe he is in denial of the fact that she is capable of hiding her hurt and emotions too well.

The precap eludes to Imlie and Adi finally having a chat before he wanted to drop her off to college. We’ve been waiting for that talk, I want to see what and how this leads to the camera/evidence. Less Malini space was a blessing. What a relief?!

They balanced the characters and relationships better in today’s epi.
