Hey y'all! Jumping into the convo as always 😆 I don't follow a lot of IF forums for desi shows but Vera yeh kaafi normal hain from what I've seen. Log toh isse bhi kahiiiiiin aage chale jaate hain 😆 Some forums are so toxic it affects you personally too. The thing is, I don't mind healthy criticisms. Forums/social media are supposed to give a voice to everyone who watch a certain show and have their own perspective on things but just like any other place, there are certain etiquettes to keep in mind as well.
Exactly, voicing out your opinions and bashing are two different things. Why don't people understand the difference between both is beyong me sometimes.
See having an opinion is excellent. We should voice out ours. But do we need to dissect every action? See, the show is aired on ITV. Simple si baat hai, don't try to find logic here. Phir bhi logic ko leke bashing hoti hai. Iske liye kya batau?
Sometimes I feel like am I doing the correct thing liking the show and the characters?? They influence your thinking so much
Since day one of this show, I've liked both the characters. It's not that I like Raghav because he is 'oh so hot' 😆 but because I always like complex characters more, be it ITV or any other fictional show/movie/book. It's fascinating to see how they think and how their characters shape up over the course of time, and as a human being who is flawed and does questionable things, I find it relatable.
Exactly, I love him because he is a relatable to us, grey is so hard to find in ITV, not because of his physicality, lol. It is interesting to watch their ideologiies. Actors are good looking in general. Does it mean we see every soap that is aired? Why is liking a ML always related to his looks? It can also be due to his character right? It is a nice experience to see such grey characters in the flesh. As you said, fascinating.
I've liked Pallavi because she was different, not just because she was a widow already battling the society in every step of the way but also because she wasn't whitewashed which bores the hell out of me😳 Woh baat alag hain ke I'm not liking the way writers are shaping Pallavi's character nowadays, zaroorat se zyada negativity mil rahi hain ladki ko mainly because of the way she's now being written.
Baap rethe amount of criticisms she faces. People claim themselves to be "Raghav" fans (notice the quotes ) and it gives them an excuse to bash Pallavi. Like really? Pallavi sounds preachy because it is the writing that is at fault. But no, Pallavi doesnot love Raghav is the opionion they conclude at
They find it difficult to accept we love both equally, with their flaws, infact because of their flaws. Flaws hona human hai.
There were tracks/episodes where I didn't like certain things and I just skipped the episodes for that time being (only to binge them later lol) and only checked what other people were saying. It's nice to read about different thoughts on characters/tracks because it lets me see how the same scenes are being interpreted by others but problem is most people want others to also agree with them. Duniya mein saare log alag hote hain and unki soch alag hoti hain, yeh kya zabardasti hain bhai😆 It's so hard nowadays to have a healthy, logical, non-toxic argument with someone, log offend ho jaate hain yeh soch ke ke yeh toh hater hainIt's possible for a person to disagree with another and STILL respect that other person and their opinions, what's so hard about this🤔
@b: Exactly, when I didn't like, I didnot see. What I don't understand is the love to hate equation they have with the show. Love it or hate it. Aise beech mein hoke, don't bash the characters.
@i: Haan yeh bhi hai. If we support or contradict, They think we blindly love the characters.
@p: If people could be that mature, we wouldnt be lamenting!! Would we?
I seriously doubt the IQ of some people
No offense to anyone. Thank you for coming to my MHRW TED talk😆
No, thanks. It is like everything I wanted so say. 👍🏼
