I think they will not change him to all white, it's a conflict so it will be one, and it's impossible to change completely however deeply you love the other person. Here the stake is they have to fight an inner battle more than the outer one..

Changing completely is not love, it is sacrifice, but only in love mutual concept is found which one blossoms can never part them away
