Guys I had a general query. Why the limit of pages is 150? And I've seen that sometimes it crosses 150 so why can't it go on? Does the thread get a warning if it crosses 150 pages?

It’s the IF rule since its inception. Any discussion thread cannot go beyond 150 pages unless permitted by Mods on special occasions when the entire IF family takes part which happens mostly in Global announcements thread.

I think it is to prevent lag issues while loading the pages and don’t want to burden the server too much.

You can go typically upto 155 pages, Mods won’t say anything, sometimes they allow till 160, beyond that is risky.
