RCB (3rd) and KKR (6th) will be playing the second match after the restart of the IPL 2021 season in the UAE. The match will be played from 7:30 pm (IST) onwards at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

From leading the table with four wins on the trot, the Virat Kohli-led team had slipped to third spot before the break in the season, having suffered two defeats from their last three matches. The onus would be on their famed batting lineup of Kohli, AB de Villiers and Glen Maxwell to start firing once again and put pressure on the KKR batsmen.

Having started the season with much promise under Eoin Morgan, KKR so far have failed to inspire, suffering five defeats in seven matches. They are at the sixth spot in the eight-team table, staring at early elimination for a third season in a row. The biggest letdown for KKR this season has been their top-order batting as the top three Shubman Gill, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi have failed to give the team a decent start.

Predicted Playing 11

Kolkata Knight Riders Playing 11: Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan (capt), Dinesh Karthik (wk), Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Lockie Ferguson, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Varun Chakravarthy, Prasidh Krishna

Royal Challengers Bangalore Playing 11: Virat Kohli (capt), Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers (wk), Shahbaz Ahmed, Kyle Jamieson, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal

Kolkata Knight Rider (KKR) vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB): The stage is set for another big rivalry of IPL to resume - it is KKR vs RCB. The two teams have played some of the best contests over the years - it was also the first-ever match in IPL history. RCB, while in good form, had to make a few replacements before the resumption, while KKR have pretty much the same squad as before. So, things could get pretty interesting once again.

KKR coach David Hussey speaks

"Our goal remains the same and that is to qualify for the final. We have done it before and we can do it again. And we have the squad to do it. We have to start winning and there's nothing to lose" - David Hussey.

Yes Vijay, being led the team from the front , Virat should lift the trophy at the end of this IPL. ⭐️

Virat Kohli speaks before match

"The conditions in subcontinent this time of the year are pretty similar. Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmantha Chameera are two guys who have played so much cricket for Sri Lanka and they understand how to play on pitches like these and their skill sets will be of huge help for us, playing in Dubai, understanding how hot and humid conditions can be and how the pitches will play out, they know everything" - Virat Kohli.

Not a fan of VK but honestly as a RCB fan will love to see him lifting the trophy this time.

The man has led the team for over a decade and deserves this before stepping down as the skipper.
