Why simple choti not liked why simple make up not liked why i Dont know but i know but i know hair mein jyaada style karne se baal bahut toote hain baal khule rakhne se baal root se kamjor hote aur baal bahut jhade hai aur har jagah baal girne ka rehta hai

That is why i prefer choti. Choti karne se baal nahin jhadte aur majboot hote hai aur lambe samay tukade baal acha bana rehta .

Yahi haal skin ka hai jitna kum se kum cosmetic use kare utna Better hai har time cosmetic use karne se skin ankhein ke liye harnful hai aur pimple bhi nikalte hai aur baal grey hote hai before time

If we see old generation women woh koi aisa make up nahin karti hai ek simple maang aur simple choti karti hai but phir bhi achi lagti hai aur eye soothing hoti hai

Make up karke ya style bana kar aakhon ko khuch din acha lagta sakta hai but make up yeh har time aankhon ko nahin acha lagta . Aakhon mein uljhan se lagne lagi khuch time baad

Ek simple hair style with minimum make up hi mostly eye soothing hota

I'm not even surprised why nobody else spoke up in favor of Anupamaa here because time and again this family has shown extremely antiquated, self-hating beliefs regarding everything from the rights of women, household responsibilities to clothes, language and education. Sarees have always been considered official indian formal/professional wear. It's the uniform for women in so many colleges in India, practically everyone in government offices wears them and a good section of the private sector too. Even in today's modern startups or offices with younger employees and such, women find ways to innovate older sarees in newer drapes and styles. This type of hating on your own culture in favor of a "western=progressive" outlook is actually the most backward and colonialist type of thinking. Because they're supposed to be a typical middle class family, I can see why it makes sense that they see all that as a way to elevate themselves. But take a look at the rich people on this show. Rakhi Dave does look down on everyone for all this stuff, but she wears sarees all the time. She even converses in Hindi. Look at Kinjal. Look at Anuj. They're in touch with themselves and their culture. All these "rich, forward people" as examples so what is the Shah Parivaar aspiring to? Take a leaf out of their book and stop being ashamed of where you come from and your culture. Anupamaa of course won't say all that, she'll make an emotional appeal because that's what she knows. We can't even expect anyone in this family except maybe Kinjal to put them all in their place. They see speaking in english as the marker of success. Wearing formal pants or skirts and such is also "aage baddna". But let's imagine Anupamaa starts dressing and behaving like that, imagine the comments these very same people would make. All the terrible regressive misogynist things they carry around like it's a family heirloom and all the good values and heritage they should care about, they see as lame or an obstacle.
