Any why not? Going by the popularity of Pawandeep in Uttarakhand these days, I am sure they will get all arrangements made for them.

I believe these days chopper rides can be booked by anyone - available to public. Isn't that true?

PS - checked on the net, helicopter taxi service is available for Kedarnath.

So that seems like a probable program for the early part of this week. But who knows...

The Kedarnath season ends soon - so they may want to take advantage of the fact that they are already there - virtually at the door.

True, but I guess this being one of the most important shrines it can never be enough now matter how many times one goes there.

Edit: plus, he may want to go there as a mark of respect for winning the trophy. He must have had a desire / plan which is why he has spoken about it.

Baba Kutani is at Srinagar Garhwal and at Devalgarh - which could mean en route to Kedarnath. We will know soon if entire party is going - which seems likely.
