Will writers ever do justice with Pallavi’s character?.. argh !
How will audience enjoy show when they can’t establish connect with lead because of pathetic and lazy writing
.
you may not agree with me what I am going to write but this is purely my opinion
People connected with both raghav and pallavi in the starting but raghav charm and aura was way ahead than pallavi for female audiences and ITV audience consist 90% of female audience only.
On top of that Sai raw and passionate portrayal made it even more exciting. His looks and accent were an added bonus. Many serials have marathi background and dialogues too but adding telugu flavour was something unique. People who watch star plus know that male leads are Sanskari and on right side of law but here comes a grey hero who doesn't mince his words even while talking to elders , shows aggression at drop of hat and flaunts his wealth without any shame and morality. So people got a new choice in this hero and they got attracted towards him.
But however we praise pallavi in this AT ,somewhere the truth is that she still fits in the mould of star plus bahu/ beti who sacrificed her life to bail out her brother , didn't tell her baba about the loss in shop so that he doesn't get hurt. So I guess how many trp audience would have liked to see her backstory if it wasn't mysterious like raghav.
We online audience like to dissect every single dialogue but for trp audience its like switch on tv , do some other work and watch simultaneously. The scenes which make them happy , they rejoice with it and the scenes with they don't like, they pass it off like nothing happened and move on.
