Honestly,
This is what irritates me the most..the elders being all toxic as hell in love ..sometimes much more than the villian or the cheater hero.
Bahu nhi beti hai. Agr sach mai beti maante na toh tejo ko 100 kos duur rakhte fattu se. 🤔
Tejo and fateh were always the endgame. Ik it now too because kal ke scene mai he was caring for her and all that shit. But ab na baat nhi rhi, i can handle badi se badi misunderstanding and angst that comes with it but cheating is like..🤢
@MHRW...i like the aesthetics of the show. That's it or kuch nhi passand. Infact, aesthetics itte acche lge the ki dekhne ki koshish bhi kri thi but "unpopular opinion" the ml is not my cup of tea. Not in acting and not in looks also😊
And fl bhi sirf pretty lgti hai mujhe. But I can't just find a connect with that show. 🤷🏻♀️
Yes. The elders shown to be well intentioned, loving and caring of the FLs then the exact opposite of what should have been good for them. And that is to be miles away from the cheater men. That is like obvious. But even their love is conditional and selfish ("Kisi haal mein yeh divorce nahi hone dena hai") Imagine the pain the woman goes through to constantly have to be reminded of the betrayal and no space to heal. That said, I also realize its more for the technicality of generating drama or whatever. Wish there was a better way for it.
With the new promos and the way Jassu is being all sneaky with planning and the divorce on hiatus its kinda clear they are building up Fate-Jo again. Its now gonna be how the man gets saved from that buri, doosri aurat and Tejo will unwittingly have saved him from the clutched of that. Yikes. That is not what was happening. Fateh was an equal, willing accomplice who did everything knowingly, in his full senses 👎🏼. Same as you. For all the other separations and their flaws, you can root for the couple at least for theie love. But cheating just destroys the pillar of it all.
MHRW is a show where the leads chemistry is the USP. I remember you telling me to check it out after watching the FL's acting in the shaadi ki reception track - aka the smirk lol. I did check it and I agree she acts good. Save for a few crying scenes in which she needs improvement. I actually think the ML is quite good looking. His acting though needs work. A lot. Either way, its the kind of show which would be my cup of tea. Both leads look great imo. But like you - I just couldnt connect to it. Dont even bother to try lol.

he looks so haseen na vaise??!!
I'm in love with zdmn...the individual ch, the ships..till now they're going on ao well. And again.. THE FREAKING AESTHETICS ARE SO PLEASING. All those dark green and warm tones.
I've realised something lately about myself...that as much I need to love the ship and the ch...(story toh vaise bhi kaha hi hoti hai itv mai
)
I need the vibe also. Like the set and everything. AESTHETICS AGAIN!!!
😆 D, I'll admit I dont have the same level of hype and love for Parth. This was more in your love. But the MV was melodious and Parth does the romance well. Initial days of KZK, he also pleasantly surprised me as Anurag Basu. I thought he would do terrible haha.
You know the aesthethics, cinematography and the lot are the kind of thing that ake a show great and we dont really usually think about them as much when connecting with a show (although people talk about it more often now). But take them out of the equation and it REALLY changes the feel and viewing experience. To the point where you could choose to watch or not watch the show. Like you. Totally with you on that. Also on ZDMN. I enjoy the feel and looks it has.
Also to add, for me when the sets of a show actually looks like a 'set', it makes me instantly lose connect. If you know what I mean. Feels like it breaks that wall in my head. One show that recently comes to mind is the house in Zindagi show on SP. Feels sooo set-like. Anywhere other than that house, feels more... natural.
