I'm sorry if it's been discussed before or it's not allowed but I have to get it off my chest.

Like many I was a big fan of season 1. Ram and Sakshi were a class aoart so wouldn't do injustice to Nakul-Disha by comparing them both but I just can't digest this show.

Season 1 was all about not-so-young couple finding love after marriage(that's why the name Bade Acche lagte hai- Bade as in Umar me Bade) but Nakul and Disha are not looking the part at all. They are not looking a couple who is 38 and 32 respectively. If Nakul trims his beard, cuts his hair and Disha is given trendier clothes, they would look just like any young TV couple.

I'm loving Nakul-Disha together and they have amazing chemistry but they are just not Ram-Priya for me. Ekta could have chosen any other name and it could have worked but not BALH.

Even Ram's friends are not looking the part. If Ram is 38, his friends would also be in mid-thirties but they all are so young.

I'm just not able to connect the characters with the actors

Mid thirties is still Young and not typical old people. Times have gone where people in 30s used to look like 50s. People are becoming more fit and aware so age stereotypes have changed.

agreed they could have name this show anything but not balh

first prev seasons fans wont like it so some wont accept the show easily

i already see some unnecessary bashing by these fans who r commenting even without seeing the epis

they can change other characters name but not the lead's characters name

isse acha they could have named ram-priya of this season as adi-pankhuri instead 🤣(pankhuri sood n aditya kapoor 😆)

and since show revolves around baarish aisa related kuch naam de deta

and as for concept ekta said this time it is about a love story between 2 individuals who are in their 30s(priya's 32 n ram's 38 here)

People are fokat mai bashing nakul or disha yaa show because if Ekta wanted this season like 1st season then she taked 1st season Ram Priya in the place of nakul and disha 🤣

To enjoy Nakul disha yani this Ram priya people have to leave 1st season Ram Priya in past 😆

Lmao Adi Kapoor and Pankhuri Sood 🤣🤣 but then PKDH fans wouldn't like it.. coz there are different memories attached with PaYa of pkd lol.

They should have kept some entirely different names of the characters.. even if the show name is retained as BALH. Then there would be less comparison but I guess this is inevitable. 😆 In any case I am not that worried because just give the show a few months, people will get totally used to NaSha as PriRa.👍🏼 I am sure of that 😃

I'm not gonna go into 'the age of the actors and if they look it' conversation. That is subjective. To me they look in their thirties and that is that.

What on earth do you mean by S1 being a story of older, not so good looking couple? @yeojanextdoor. In what terms are Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar not-so-good-looking? I hope that we can all refrain from saying these things on the forum because it's genuinely upsetting.

@bold I meant that in the show Ram Kapoor was not shown as conventionally handsome. He was in his early 40s, had a paunch, etc. It was deliberately shown that he has crossed the age where people would get attracted to him for his looks. Infact when his "date" in the very initial episodes fake praises him that he is kaafi good-looking, so healthy and fit,handsome etc he is like- main aur fit? 😆 achha toh mere paison ke wajah se you find me handsome? Toh that's what I meant ki in the show the makers were trying to make the point that the ML is a totally average-looking man in his 40s.

Even for Priya in the show it was reiterated many times how she is inferior in looks compared to her sister Ayesha.. her mother says ki agar tune apne looks pe dhyaan diye hote, thoda sa makeup karti, etc toh aaj teri shaadi ho jaati.. something on those lines. (I was watching the initial episodes a few days back). Her date also tells her how she has lost her looks now that she is in her early 30s.. So my point was that the show tried to show that 2 people who are not in their prime in terms of looks find love in one another..

Here I didn't talk about the actors Ram and Sakshi 's looks. I find both of them , esp Sakshi very beautiful. Infact it felt laughable when she was called average in the show. And Ram Kapoor also was kaafi good looking, esp in his earlier shows.. And now I find him very cute! His smile is amazing!

Thanks for the clarification lol. And yeah I agree with you. The show was hellbent on proving how average Priya was. A tradition it has carried forward in this new season. And if Priya (both 1&2) are considered average, tab pata nahi khoobsurat log kaise hote hain 😂😂😂😂
