I had hopes from this wirters as tejo was savage...from starting....... alas..

This is itv - tejo in virk house sobbing and serving with smile....and trio abusing each other... specially sisters as sautan.... will give them best trp... makers will milk it until it gets overused... makers do not care for society ... morals... role models...etc...THEY ARE BUSINESSMEN..... will do what brings money in .....

Progressive stories do not get more than 1.0 trp at all... I am following two progressive shows....always fear... when...will I hear they are shutting shop... soon....

Why society do not encourage women to start afresh after abusive/failed marriage... ??? why they hype divorce as a bad thing...?

Per my grandfather, here are some reasons and solutions:

Reasons:

- men do not want to see courageous/rebellious women around so they can go away with all the shxx, they will label them as characterless to pull their udariyan down...ASAP

- parents do not have space for married daughter or in some case they are them selves a burden on son's family !

Solutions:

- educate daughters !

- do not rush them to marry so you can retire... do let them be self depended and think of marriage after...

- keep the share in property (if you have some) for yourself and daughters

- do not spend HUGE amount on daughter's wedding /dowry - FD those money to daughter instead... (so she can start afresh if she needed)

- give her strength to walk out with self respect...if it is not right for her... be it from her sasural or any work place... when it comes to her self respect - NO COMPROMISE.

@bold-your and mine definition of decent is different. If a family sees that a girl is good and is a victim of circumstances then no fam should reject the girl.

Also the underlying message here is it is better to have an abusive marriage than get a divorce. Which is pretty pathetic.

Yes she is a professor and a strong woman as well but the society we live in unfortunately doesn't care and will continue to stigmatize her irrespective of what actually happens to be her story.
