even S 1 had their oen issues of casting Ram-Sakshi due to their image as Jai Walia & Parvati Agarwal respectively how can they win hearts but they did win hearts

Its the same here NaSha might not look the age though Nakuul is really 38 yrs old in real life but still they have win hearts and convince the viewers and thats what natural acting means

regards to Ram's eating habits there are people in the world who eats alot but doesn't gain weight it could be an health issue or genetic

Its all abt convincing

And I think the only thing is that the title should not be interpreted in other way... it just means the intensity of the likeness which is apt for them

Like many I was a big fan of season 1. Ram and Sakshi were a class aoart so wouldn't do injustice to Nakul-Disha by comparing them both but I just can't digest this show.

Season 1 was all about not-so-young couple finding love after marriage(that's why the name Bade Acche lagte hai- Bade as in Umar me Bade) but Nakul and Disha are not looking the part at all. They are not looking a couple who is 38 and 32 respectively. If Nakul trims his beard, cuts his hair and Disha is given trendier clothes, they would look just like any young TV couple.

I'm loving Nakul-Disha together and they have amazing chemistry but they are just not Ram-Priya for me. Ekta could have chosen any other name and it could have worked but not BALH.

Even Ram's friends are not looking the part. If Ram is 38, his friends would also be in mid-thirties but they all are so young.

I'm just not able to connect the characters with the actors

I am sorry, but Nakuul is 38 and looks so. Disha is 28 and can pass for a 30-something which fits the bill perfectly. Old people can look good, lol. Just because society feeds us to believe that life ends in your late-20s doesn't mean so. Anyway, Ram is supposed to be a super-rich guy who can afford better food and treatments than us peasants in our 30s.

The earlier season had Ram somewhere near his mid-40s and Priya in her late 30s. This show is aimed at slightly younger couple

Btw Disha is actually 26 years old not 28. She will turn 27 this year in November. Wiki has wrong info about her D.O.B.

Its no difference just a few years more she will enter the 30s phase

I have never watched even a single episode of the original show. I consider myself lucky for having joined late and not having a framework to compare it to the current PriRa.

The problem with rebooting iconic characters is that fans have set parings, which they ship, and upsetting the apple cart can be either a boon or a bust. More often it's a bust.

Without a doubt, Disha will always be Priya for me and Nakul will always be Ram. The two of them have a chemistry which is beautiful to watch. It was that, that kept me here.

Whereas Disha herself is 28 and also looks the same. Nakul is 38 however he looks just 32-33 lol.

They both don't give the older couple vibe the main thing which is the supposed to be the common factor bw both show.

Also Nakul looks odd as a foodie, given he is so damn fit. Him eating all that junk and medicines look unbelievable to me. Like I would believe Ram Kapoor for it but not someone like Nakul who has a well toned body under that suit.

However both the actors ae good but just not believable for what they are shown and not their mistake. The casting director or EK should have thought about it

In this season I think she wanted to show 2 matured people who are age at 30 are lonely and heartbroken and deprived of love

So she choice nakul and disha

About Ram looking fit some people really look fit in their old age (PS my nana ji look so much fit in 70 but my father and my masi husband look aged more than him) and people how much they eat they don't get it in their genetic

Most important Ekta wanted this season for young generation who did not watch 1st season and able to connect with them like me i didn't watch 1st season so I able to watch this season without comparing to 1st season

To enjoy this season you have to forget about 1st season
