Netflix works way better especially internationally. Hotstar is being discontinued outside India and old content is being moved to the Disney bundle.

All of SRK's RCE and Dharma movies are on Netflix. All the YRF ones are on Amazon. He doesn't have control over Dharma/YRF films.

If he moves his library, all RCE films would go to Disney/Hotstar and they would be removed from Netflix. That's like 30 films so it's a lot. It's fine for audiences in India but it would be a big problem outside the country.

Disney just announced a few days ago that they're discontinuing Hotstar outside India and all the content is being distributed in various apps in the Disney bundle. Cricket is going to ESPN+, old shows and movies are going to Hulu, and so on. It's going to be a big mess.

I hope SRK's movies all remain on Netflix and Amazon. 😭

Maybe it's a promotion for watching IPL on Hotstar?
