Thoughts on how the prenup agreement will pan out? I feel there should be a face to face conversation between Ram and Priya. Sending it her way with Shubam was so insulting

Probably Ram doesn't know. In any case, I feel Priya should just sign it without a fuss. 🤷♀️
The prenup idea is insulting if the man and woman are in love- I think in that case, a prenup becomes too transactional and wanders into the lack of trust territory.
But in this case Ram and Priya are independent- Priya would have her separate finances, and might not take alimony anyways, if they separated.
This is ofcourse assuming they don't start a family 😆 Then it is a terrible proposition for Priya and child/children. But would Ram be the kind to leave his children hanging? Highly doubtful, seeing how he treats his step family.
But this is an Ekta Kapoor serial 😆 All this does not matter in the end. They will fall in love, have some misunderstanding, Priya will leave pregnant and raise a child alone for 5 years, 5 year leap ke baad boom- kid will bring them together and happily ever after untill next leap.
raam is discussing that prenup shouldn't be there so I guess the mother son duo sent it without his knowledge or convinced him.....
priya should sign it....she doesn't need anything from dem anyway

I think that Priya would find it insulting not because Shubham is there but because he has such a condescending attitude and one that Priya is definitely used to from others (ie. her students). Matlab sign toh karegi par mooh pe darwaza bhi maregi. 😆
I also understand where Nandini's coming from based on today's episode because if I were in her position and this creep af stranger popped up behind me like a deranged jack-in-box like, 'hey girl heyyyyy, guess what? we're gonna be related soon and also you shouldn't trust your son's fiance and her family they're shady as hell, bye bestie'. However, I do feel like Ram should've been a part of this decision. Actually, this should be something that Ram and Priya discuss on their own because yes, their marriage means that their families will be joined together now as well, but at the end of the day the two people most affected by this marriage are Ram and Priya so this prenup should be something that they discuss because I don't feel as though Priya is opposed to signing, I feel like her professor/I-am-my-mother's-most-sensible-daughter mind does not want sign without a proper discussion.
Ram would not leave his children and Priya is too practical to let pride get in the way of her child/children's well-being. But as you said, Ekta ka serial hai so who knows? Fingers crossed Disha doesn't end up playing her own daughter again!
Well i read a comment on YouTube that prenups are not even valid in india legally and now it s quite amusing for me that ekta even uses prenups drama in her shows🤣🤣

Even I was feeling that... never herd f something like that... but I guess she'd is taking her cues from some American drama or movie😆Originally posted by: Clichedromance

But you know what... its a new thing so viewers might get more interested...
Besides the writers have freedom to create things which are not there so...😆
Yep, apparently, because there was a hue and cry amongst the fans about this when this concept of prenup was brought up in another show a couple years ago.

I was also wondering the same -- are prenups even legal in our country? what is this random story arc....
plus the way they are showing divorce settlement is also weird. correct me, if am wrong, but in a settlement in our country, the wife isn't automatically entitled to property or 50% of whatever he owns. (that is only in some countries abroad). instead, there is a settlement negotiation between the two lawyers and it is dependent on income and years of marriage. both sides negotiate and one time payment is done. at least this is what I am aware of in divorce cases I heard...
