I will summarise what I have already said in my earlier post about Fateh and Tejo equation.

Tejo has always affected Fateh in way no one did and no one can, not even Jasmeen who he proclaims as his eternal lover. Tejo Sandhu is etched in his memories, she is in his subconscious mind, she is present in his life even in her absence and most important she shared his pain and he is the reason for her pain. It is very weirdly passionate what he feels for Tejo which cannot be defined in word but I still believe it is not love but something greater than love. Since the time he has known Tejo, they have shared every emotions with each other. They have been angry with each other, they have been unhappy with each other, they have been happy with each other, they have shared secrets with each other, they have shared their pain/sorrow with each other and they have shared the most intimate relation between a man and woman with each other. So this indifferent Tejo is difficult for him to digest hence all the stupid trick and dialogues to get some kind of reaction from her but she has not obliged him yet.

Tejo's indifference towards his existence is hurting him and has bruised his ego. Fateh has experienced the loving, affectionate, caring Tejo very closely, intimately and he is not use to this version of Tejo. She had embraced him and their relation with all the faults and he knows that he is losing it to never get it back again.

Fateh and Tejo requires that one to one conversation/confrontation with each other. They need to pour their heart out as husband and wife probably for the last time for proper closure. Fateh is yet to apologise Tejo about his betrayal, we will get that once the Simran truth is out and Tejo walks out of Virk Mansion. Tejo has not punished Fateh for his deeds but has gifted him her absence cause he never appreciated her presence in his life, this is going to hound him at some point of time.

We will have to wait and suffer till this track gets completely unfold...😆

Problem is they don't have any other story for Jasmeen to link with Fateh and Tejo. She is a very shallow character out of 3. Tejo is layered, if they want many aspect of her life can be shown same goes for Fateh. They can have different tracks for these two people and still keep them connected but with Jasmeen, there is no other way out than planning and plotting as they cannot go back to her chirpy bubbly girl act...🤬

You’ve explained everything so beautifully!!

Fateh’s reaction to Tejo reminds me of the saying: “the opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference.” If she screamed at him, if she cried, if she let him know just how much he hurt her - it would mean that she still feels something towards him. But for her to suddenly be cold and detached, to be unbothered, it’s like there’s nothing there, and that’s unsettling for him.

They missed a really good opportunity to have her mature after she walked out of the wedding - like maybe she could have regretted it at first, but then realized that she wouldn’t have been happy with him, and then she could have started her solo journey to get to Canada (like going to university or something other than getting married).
